Broken Glass! A play by post roleplay on a message board (as opposed to LJ, of course), involving the lives of contemporary high schoolers in a mostly lolita styled school called Rocking Horse Highschool.
We’re looking for new members (obviously), especially experienced rp’ers, but we also love (and will help) new players who are willing to follow the rules (such as knowing how to spell and use punctuation.) The new term (actually, the summer term, because due to a recent loss of members, we haven’t been able to get through the summer term) will make it easier to jump in as new characters.
It can get pretty dramaorz, since you know, it takes place in a highschool. There are some topics that are a bit adult (drugs, sex, etc), but it’s not like those things aren’t present in highschool, amIright?
In RHHS (Rocking Horse Highschool), there’s a clique system in place, dividing the school into definite categories (not that your character has to be the perfect personified version of the clique’s ideals. That’d be no fun!):
The Kittens: Rich, fashionable, proper. The popular girls who rule the school. The Gents: Lolita version of jocks, the sports players, the popular guys who all the girls want. The Boffs: the nerds, picked on, smartypantses, /b/tards. The Phantoms: the artists and writers, the creative wild group. The Dark Phantoms: Goths, the morbid and dark. Derelicts: the bad kids and troublemakers.
