I'm in Tokyo right now because my team made it into the finalists of this year's Blythe Beauty Contest. The show was held yesterday and went amazing. I got to meet Novala Takemoto and Kumiko Uehara as they were in the jury! They loved our doll! Furthermore I scored Yukinonamidahime for her retail price (I refuuused to pay what she fetches on ebay) and got her box signed! ^.^
This btw is the first lolita outfit I've sewn, it's shirred and has a ton of details you can't really see in this pic.
This is our doll and the outfit that is partly referencing Rococo.
He's so quiet and enigmatic.
The giant on the left is me.
He's so cute and sweet and very pleased we were sharing a love for Viv.
To think I was in MaruiOne yesterday squeaking at Baby clothes. ^.^ Afterwards we went for dinner with some friends and I happened to sit next to yet another Baby designer who was apparently a big fan of our dolly hehe. She said she's done the mini crowns and cake hat so I guess she in charge of headpieces and jewelry. She showed me pictures of two little crowns she made by hand and are being used in an upcoming jdorama, worn by two seriously cute boys. :B
Sorry that most of these pictures are so grainy! The lighting in there was pretty bad.
