It saddens me that the power of media can often change the prespective and impression that the everyday men and women have of certain things.
How stupid will we look to the Japanese?
Like please, sk8ter boys? Lolitas drooling over sk8ter boys??
Bad synthetic material, wrong silhouette and dresses that don't even fit the body at the right places??
Cheap dresses from china??
Call me an elitist if you will, I will not stand for anyone who misrepresents things that many people have worked hard and even fought for. It is just so typical of "outsiders" to take things literally and misrepresent it without proper research just for "pure entertainment value".
And don't get me wrong, I'm not against the lolita girls in the movie, I'm just against movie makers who aren't bothered to research.
I am honestly very disappointed.
