Pictures of my latest conquest

I bought some purple gingham material today, and with hours of getting back to my house I was already cutting up the fabric ^_^

At this bit I would like to point out that the skirt is actually quite full, but my petticoat died in the wash so it doesn't quite do the shape justice ¬_¬

But my real question to you is, would you buy this? In a different colour gingham, maybe? I was thinking maybe in the range of £25 - £30.
I'm sorry if this question belongs in the other community, but I thought it might be best to ask here before I go ahead and embark on another sewing mission.

BTW; For those of you who read my last post, I decided to wear a black skirt, white rounded-collar blouse, black tights and black mary janes. I'll be getting an answer from the shop in the next few days. Thanks for all of those who took the time to give my advice! What would I do without you guys XD
