We will meet at 12pm in front of the old Funhouse façade, which is on 8th street just off 6th avenue (northeast corner, across the street from Barnes & Noble). Should it be raining, we will instead meet on the second floor of the Barnes & Noble at the window where there's space and some seating. To get there, you can take one of three routes:
• A/C/E/B/D/F/V trains to West 4, exit from the 8th street end of the station, walk up to 8th street and turn right at Gray's Papaya. Funhouse is two stores over.
• 1/2/3 trains to 14th street; walk downtown along 6th avenue, and turn left at Gray's Papaya.
• 6 train to Astor Place or R/W to 8th street; keep walking east along 8th street on the north side of the street (the side with 8th Street Lab on it) and you'll hit it after about a 15-20 minute walk.
Since I know lolita time is whacked, we'll wait until 1pm before we leave to go to our first stop--Milk & Cookies Bakery! I'm going to reserve us as much time as I can, since their capacity is rather small (I'm going to try for forty-five minutes, half an hour if not) and we'd crowd out their other customers easily. If I can't, we will make our orders, then go out for a little walk so people can gawp at us, lol.
From there, there will be a democratic vote between karaoke at Duet35 or ice skating at Wollman Rink. Please be financially prepared for either, and bring extra fare for a ride to midtown!
I hope to see you there! ♥ (x-posted)
