Just for fun, I'll review a real pair of Vivienne Westwood's too :3
~Jan 10th, 2007 update!~
I updated the sizing on the Rose Chocolat shoes, I made a booboo. Also added some stuff about the straps & soles.
First I'll start off with the real Vivienne Westwood Rockinghorse shoes.

Sizing: The Vivienne Westwood shoes seem to use the vintage sizing method. Sizes are /very/ true, they do not run small. I accidentally got them a little too big, but I have solved this problem by stuffing sheep's wool into the toe and wearing two pairs of socks. If you have narrow feet (like me), you're going to want to order a size down. If you have wide feet, you don't need to order a size up unless they are very wide, there is a lot of room in these, even in the toe area.
Looks: Obviously these look great! They are the originals and I believe it shows. The wood is really beautifully cut and sealed and they have the original design. These lack the bubble toe of the An*ten*na version (which some people like) and the leather straps come out from the sides, rather than the back. The leather straps attach with velcro, I tend to have some issues keeping them up though.
Quality: The quality of these is very, very high. Obviously there are imperfections as I believe these are all hand-made. The leather gets a little crinkly in places, but that's to be expected. There are also some imperfections on the lining of the shoe, but who cares? Even the wood would be a little more difficult to dent/chip than others and would stand up to dampness better (as they are sealed).
Price: This one is the big ouch. These shoes cost 250GBP at the VW store in England and they take 8 weeks to be made. Because I don't live in the UK, I had to get a shopping service to get them and all together it was 300GBP even ($684CAD, $581USD). I think it's worth the price if you can afford it though!
Overall: These are, to me, the definitive rockinghorse shoe. Mine are a bit big, but I still love them. Actually, I'm even a little glad that canada post messed up mailing these and I get to keep them. They are really worth it if you like rockinghorse shoes, vivienne westwood and can afford them :3
Next up is the Rose Chocolat Premier Ballerina Rockinghorse shoes

Side view
Sizing: I am a total knob and forgot that most of my shoes are a little roomy. I ordered a size 24 (240) and they are more like a size 24.5. So these do run the right size, equivalent to a size L in japanese shoes.
If you have narrow-normal feet and want tight shoes, order a full size down, if you want looser order a half-size down. If you have wide feet, order your normal size (or even up if you have really wide feet).
Looks: These are very cute. They are very similar to the VW's, except their straps are much longer and they have black piping along the edges of the soles (like the An*ten*nas). They looks like they have a lighter type of wood for the sole, but they are actually a really dense foam. These have the same narrow toe and straps on the side as the VW's and the notch in back is around the same size. They are also the same height.
Quality: The quality is quite nice for being $100USD or so. The foam used for the soles is really dense and has weight to it. They are fairly easy to dent on the surface and the foam is a total lint/hair magnet (which may go away as they are worn). You can see the lint and hair stuck on them in the side pic! The foam is not sealed, so it might not hold up to dampness that well. I have to mention that the foam is really hard, it's not going to just collapse at any point, you can't even really squeeze them. They are made of leather and the insoles are really similar to the VW's, they even have the suede backing. The leather straps on these are much longer and don't have velcro, they need to be tied..One nice touch is the loop on the back of the shoes, you can loop the straps through which helps keep the shoes on. Tying the straps is a bit annoying, but they are so long it's pretty easy to do.
Price: The price on these is much nicer than the price for the VW's. Even with EMS shipping, they didn't go over $150USD. I think these are a better deal than the Montreal ones from Refuse to be Usual.
Overall: A great alternative to the VW's, it's also nice for those who want foam and shoes with the straps on the side. These would have been even nicer with the wood, but they would probably cost a lot more that way. They look a lot like the real VW's.
