2019 Wardrobe Post

Welcome to my wardrobe and apologies in advance for the wide variety of outdoor lighting and reflections. My style seems to have become a little of everything, despite my insistence that I'm still a gothic lolita who dabbles in sweet and classic.

Left: Kuranosuke Stripe (Alice and the PIrates) with Black Peace Now blouse. Right: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright Skirt and Cutsew

Left: Chiffon Sleeve OP (Atelier Pierrot) with BPN cutsew. Right: Handmade velveteen dress

This is the same Atelier Pierrot skirt with and without my favourite BPN jacket. This is the newest addition to my wardrobe and hasn't actually been worn out yet.

Both from Innocent World, both music themed, both from around 2005-6.

More Stripes! Atelier Pierrot OP and skirt, with Millefleurs bolero and Peace Now blouse

H. Naoto Frill Bustle JSK. It's a gothic dress that wants to be sweet - the silver pattern actually has strawberries all over it...

Left: Shinku Rose JSK made to my design. Right: Handmade by a local seamstress, inspired by VM's Victorian Noble OP

Left: Lace Flock (Moi-Meme Moitie), my original dream dress. Right: Daydreaming Goldfish (Metamorphose Temps de Fille)

Three of a Kind - Atelier Boz/Lapin Agill Lindo Frill OP

Not really three of a kind - Atelier Pierrot on the left, Bodyline in the middle, and Heart E on the right. Yes, that's the same blouse in two colours.

Algonquins Addiction dress that pretty much gets worn to everything fancy. Not super lolita.

Melody Cat JSK (Metamorphose Temps de Fille) - another dream dress, but immensely difficult to match with anything other than black due to the indigo-purple. There is pink and silver to consider, but they're very subtle.

Left: Kiss Me Cat (Angelic Pretty X Disney). Right: Princess Cat (Angelic Pretty)

Left: Marionette Doll JSK with Cinema Cat cutsew (Angelic Pretty). Right: Yolanda JSK (modified from OP)

Brass Band Cat/Musical Cat (Metamorphose Temps de Fille) in different cuts. I initially bought the purple and loved it, and now I have both JSK versions]. The round collar one also has a bustle back.

Left: Secret Laboratory long JSK (Metamorphose Temps de Fille). Right: Dusk Library (Surface Spell)

Left: Victorian Maiden Regimental Ribbon Stripe JSK. Right: Twinkle Ornament (Angelic Pretty)

Strawberries! Atelier Pierrot and Angelic Pretty.

Sales - mostly up on lacemarket!

Like most people, I've moved to Instagram for daily outfits and general online interactions, but it's still nice to see wardrobe post month on egl.

This year I'm going to be trying, as always, to part with the things that I don't wear as often or have fallen out of love with, and acquire items to coordinate the dresses and skirts I do want to wear in more different ways.
