2019 Wardrobe Post
I referenced last year's post often when creating coords, so given all the changes in the past 12 months, an update was sorely needed. Please excuse the lighting issues—I reused photos from my previous post when possible and it took a few weekends to photograph everything. New pieces are marked with ✪.
In the past year, I let go of many dresses and bought skirts instead. And inevitably, more tops.
After seeing the IW blouse relisted on Y!J Auctions for the umpteenth time, I decided I would regret not purchasing it more than the hassle of having to iron its pleats.

Sheer Mesh Blouses ✪
I modified the sleeves on the grey blouse to be more proportionately voluminous for my noodle arms. The black one is next, when I get around to it!
These dresses are very much not to scale in this photo; the Cross Print JSK is quite long at ~120 cm and the hem reaches my mid calf. In comparison, the JSK from IW is actually 92 cm and falls slightly above my knee.

Over the summer I managed to uncover more information about this tartan Meta JSK through an old blog post that dates the JSK to 2008. I forgot to save the original post to my bookmarks but it is so satisfying to be able to identify this dress in this small way!
Tastes change and I did sell my Elizabeth ~Bride of the Death~ JSK without wearing it even once. Many of the dream dresses I bookmarked in my first year as a lolita have fallen off my wishlist altogether.
2018 was a good year for striking off dresses from my wishlist!
Along with other somewhat tacky purchases (including cat ear and nun-inspired headbands), I caved and bought a witch hat this year.
Other headwear from Angelic Pretty, Alice and the Pirates, Sweet Dreamer, Long Ears and Sharp Ears, h.Naoto, Metamorphose, and various other brands. (Plus a lace collar from Black Peace Now that is occasionally worn as a headdress.) The barrettes have been on my “to modify” list for a while.

My collection of accessories includes pieces from Automatic Honey, Alice and the Pirates, Innocent World, Moi-même-Moitié, Peppermint Fox, Violet Fane, Voodooodolly, and more. I have sold perhaps 3 pieces since last year; for the most part I added to it!
Snapped a photo of my rings for good measure. Most of them are sets I bought from Forever21 years ago. In the back are rings from Voodooodolly, Dominum Gloria on Taobao, and Restyle.

Legwear was skipped again since they are mostly indistinguishable in photos (i.e. mainly subtle patterns/textures). I still own the AatP Psyche OTKs in black and new acquisitions include lace topped OTKs from Metamorphose and Moi-même-Moitié.
Wardrobe goals for the upcoming year: finish the DIY projects I started in 2018, keep to a stricter budget, and whittle down my wishlist!
