New Innocent World Reserves and Thematic Crossovers Between Styles

Innocent world just released a lovely merry-go-round print in their normal rich classic colors, and an old European city border print in deep jewel tones. Both have a sort of signature Innocent World classic touch, but the thematic elements are ones more likely to be seen in sweet and gothic brands, respectfully.

Shopping Services?

I've been browsing egl and (to my knowledge) a list of shopping services does not exist. Perhaps some of you could share suggestions? Or point me towards a list?

Unless there's any reason why one shouldn't be compiled, I'm making one here with a list of reviews included. Please let me know of any egl review posts I can link to, or any general information that should be included. Hopefully this will provide for a better experience for any lolita using a shopping service.

EDIT: there apears to be a list of shopping services at the end of this ( post, is it worth improving upon and updating?

Lolita-esque Items in... TARGET!?

I know we've all seen the "Harajuku Lovers" (I haven't seen much 'loli' things except for maybe headbows from them in past years) in Target at one point or another, but as I was browsing Target (admittedly, yes, I was in the little girl's section looking at headbows, bless my small head), and what was this!? A PETTICOAT!? I stood there in disbelief for a moment. About a year ago my sister said she found a petticoat in H&M, which led me to searching several mainstream stores, looking for some kind of petticoat-like skirt, since at the time it was a mini-trend due to a character on a TV show wearing one as a skirt. So I found this shocking, that I was not even looking this time, and there it was, in my face. I didn't get it, since I have enough pettis right now, but I thought it was an interesting find! It's in the young girl's (not quite teen, but not little-little girl) section in Target, and seems to have larger sizes. I didn't really check what brand it is, it might be Harajuku Lovers or just some other brand, I really don't know. There was also an OP-like dress, right down to the collar. My mother was with me and she was also shocked, she was like, "Wow... I guess it might catch on, over here."

Have any of you girls and guys found any truly lolita items in mainstream stores?

Help with Petticoat

I wanted some advice on petticoats.  I own tull skirts but I discovered not an actual petticoat and I'm about to buy a couple of dresses and I want the skirts to flare out.  The dresses are knee length so how long of a petticoat should I wear with it?  The one dress is red on top and black on bottom so a black petticoat with it.  The other dress is mostly black with white trim lace on the bodice and at the bottom hem would I still match it with a black petticoat or should I use a white one?
