EGL Banner art contest - Let's vote!

Time to vote for June's theme! The banner might not go up right away, but should be up hopefully before the months is over, lol. Once the banner's up, I'll announce this month's aesthetic and general theme, and June's contest as well. Also a big thanks to all who submitted! There are so many submissions this time it'll be tough to decide!!

AP's Sugary Carnival Special Set in Pink at Nakano Broadway

I don't follow sweet at all, but I thought SC might be someone's dream print and I thought I'd let EGL know. There is a Sugary Carnival OP in pink for sale at mandrake's cosplay store (2rd floor) within Nakano Broadway. It is being sold for 31,500 yen (without tax?). Your best bet is to contact a shopping service to stop by the store. That particular dress is not on their website, but here is the link to mandrake:

Independent Designers: Etsy sales

Many of my favorite Etsy shops have items on sale now. Great chance to support independent designers and score some cuteness at a lower price.

Japan Fashion Now

Not sure if someone has scanned and posted these already but I chanced across this book in the library on Japanese fashion, and rather practically titled 'Japan Fashion Now'. The book touts itself as the first of its kind to explore how Japanese fashion has evolved in recent years and what kind of Japanese fashion book would it be if it didn't include street fashion and subcultures as well. So, indeed, there are sections on lolita fashion inside, lol.

I've scanned some pages talking about loli fashion from the book if anyone's interested for a read.
