Lolita in Wonderland II: Lolita Through the Looking Glass

I am very pleased to announce that the second ever LiW Japanese fashion festival will take place on Saturday May the 14th in Bethnal Green, London.

This is a full day event running from 12 ‘til late dedicated to celebrating Lolita fashion and it’s offshoots.

During the day there will be fashion shows, art exhibition, films and animé, workshops and talks, tea and cake, fun and games! And new to 2011: a special sales area with Lolita bazaar, clothing stalls and bring & buy sale!
In the evening there will be a loli club night with music, dancing, performances and more! There will also be a photo booth for you to get professional pics of your coordinates, refreshments, and a full bar.

Now seeking artists, photographers, performers, models, shops, sellers and volunteers!

Today, essie_morbide and I finally got to do a little photo-project she'd been wanting to do ever since she got the Moitié Lace Design skirt. As much as we love our original photo-projects, it's satisfying to do a good tribute once in a while ^___^ The blouse and skirt are Moitié, the top is offbrand and the headdress is self-made by Essie ♥.

I just purchased a download-and-play VN game off bigfishgames recently and enjoyed it thoroughly, so I thought I'd share it here with you girls as well. C: It's a game based on 3 novels by Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Persuasion.

The game is entitled "Matches & Matrimony: A Pride and Prejudice Tale".




Essentially, you play the role of the heroine in all 3 novels combined into one intersecting story.
It's a Visual Novel game, which means it's a "choose your own adventure" type of game, whereby you make choices in-game that will lead to different endings. 6 dateable characters (including Darcy and Wickham from Pride and Prejudice) and 9 possible endings. Darcy is particularly difficult to get hold off and people who enjoyed the novel will definitely enjoy his route as much as I did. xD

If you haven't read the novel, don't worry, because there are hints on how to get each specific character. The game takes place in the premises of Jane Austen's novels and the literature is reminiscent of her writing style, making it a joy to read. Since it's a visual novel, it's pretty much a text-based game though, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike reading.

She dressed all over in black with blonde hair and I dressed up in white with black hair.

My dream dress is A Midsummer Night's Dream in Black ver II and I'm looking to get it soon @_@ But I would like to see some coords (in any color/version) before I make my final descision since it's so expensive, and I don't want to end up having to sell it afterwords because I find that I don't like it as much as I thought I would.

Does anyone have photos of herself in sweet with the AP chiffon garter skirt or the garter bloomers from AP, Qutieland or another brand (if another brand also made them)
I am really curious how it looks like because I am in doubt if I should buy the skirt or the bloomers from AP or the cheaper ones from Qutieland (or if I should buy it at all)
And if you don't have it, with which things would you coordinate it so it doesn't look sexual? Or do you think it always looks sexual?
