Fashion school offering Gothic and Lolita fashion course?

I was browsing the latest GOSURORI issue and happen to found out about this: through one of the advertisement.
Gothic & Lolita Fashion course! I know they've been promoting about Ueda College of Fashion for years, but this is the first time for them having their advertisement in GOSURORI in an image of Lolita.
Apparently they only teach you stuff like the fashion history, how to draw, draft patterns and sewing, not the subculture. =P It is a 3 year long course.

What do you think about it? Would you likely to join such course if it is offered in your local college?

Petticoat Problem

After reading a Lolita blog article that highly recommended Malco Modes models 582 and 580 petticoats, I bought the 582, and it looks horrible. It gives my dresses a typical square dance silhouette (A-line with the bottom flared up). But since the blogger recommended this style, and since it's sold by Candy Violet under the name "Fluffy Petticoat", there must be some way to make it look more Lolita-appropriate. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This was the article, by the way:

Taobao shipping problems

It's been a really long time since I've ordered from a Taobao agent. I always used Taobaobuying and was always happy with their service.
I used European Special Line, also known as Yanwen Express as shipping method and never had any problems.

Now I wanted to order from my taobao agent again and I heard that the last month several people had problems with the Yanwen Express shipping. They got lost and something like that.

So I would like to know if this is a constant thing or is it already solved?

Thanks in advance for helping :)

Let's Talk About Lolita Blogs (Now with MORE tips!)

Hello everyone.

Lately there have been quite a lot of lolita-themed blogs sprouting up...and fast. I have seen/read some concerns as to whether they are being created for the right reason, and in rare cases by the right people! After thinking about what to say and (especially how is this relevant to lolita), I thought it is time to do a different kind of lolita blog guide. A PUBLIC one. Also, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from starting a blog, but making sure newbies know what to expect when they think about starting a blog.

(EDIT: I've put the entire post back into left alignment by request. Hope it's readable now.)
