Hello,

I shopping in the auctions quitea bit and i had a gir who was my usual shopping service and whom i worked with for over an year and never had problems with. She had to stop doing SS due to some health issues and said she was going to have to stay at the hospitall in the summer vacations. This was the last contact i heard from her, on Agust 8th, i has been almost 2 months now.

As much as i'm worried with her and this is a very delicate situation and i don't want to look cold and mean she but still has more than 300$ worth items from me and i'm kinda worried if i'll ever seem them again, not much the money but the items since it was something i really was looking foward to have... She mantained contact with me and i know she recieved all the items since she said so and also told me she was going to try to ship them out before going to hospital so i really found it wiered cause she probably had everything packed up she could had ask someone of her trust to send it...

So, the summer vacations are long over and no replys to any e-mails on any other contact from her so i was hoping someone in the comunity knows her and can tell me how she is... Her name is Yamaguchi Mami, she used to do instore and auctions SS with 10% fee, i am hoping someone else had her as SS or if someone knows her personaly or mantains any kind of personal contact with her...

for some reason my previous post was deleted o.O i'm going to add that i don't think she is mashimaro girl, her main SS e-mail used to be chiaki_yuhka@hotmail.com. I got her contact through a friend and i have no idea if she had Lj or what her nichname was...

i also found her facebook page but it seems it hasn't been used at al.. : http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/profile.php?id=100000465787109&v=info&ref=ts

If you know anything of her please let me know,

Thanks!

Hello Lolis :)

A couple weeks ago I asked who was the designer of BTSSB, and I'm just going to stick with Kumiko Uehara. So, I need your help again T__T

Does anyone which exhibition Kumiko was represented in? I did use the EGL search and got 2 events shes been in which was the Paris Fashion show and the Opening of BTSSB. If there are any more or ANYTHING about Kumiko would be greatly appreciated~

Thanks <3

I have to write a 15-page research artical on anything I wish. I've decided to do the connection between fashion in the U.S in the last 20 years and its political relationship with Japan. Aka I'm seeing how Lolita influence mainestream American fashion.

I'm trying to figure ou how to research this, since it has to academic, and was wondering what you guys thought. I already found a lovely artical that actually links to this community and is quite accruate in the style discription and such.

Edit: I read the suggestions and have to agree, I'm gonna set myself up for failure. I think I'll compleatly redo my topic for something else. I just wanted to get the word out about Lolita, but I guess I was too ambisious (aka stupid) about my topic.

Also, some people asked for the artical link, so here it is: http://web.ebscohost.com/ehost/detail?vid=1&hid=111&sid=44c768ab-2a01-4f11-b976-2e44df8f31e8%40sessionmgr110&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3QtbGl2ZQ%3d%3d#db=a9h&AN=28590330
Hey everyone, I was just wondering if it would be possible to sew a half elasticised waistband skirt with no zip? I recently made one with a tutorial I found in the tutorials list here (by the way, thank you so much to the author!) but I decided to make the elastic section a bit longer with no zip. I couldn't get it past my thighs.

So I was wondering if it would even be possible at all to make a half elasticised waistband with no zip and be able to pull the skirt on? I'm just wondering before I try to sew another skirt so that I don't suffer unnecessary heartbreak and seam ripping like I had to before :(.
