Hi EGL! I used the search function and checked the memories, but couldn't find what I was looking for, so here we go... I am visting Brussels for a week with my class, and I wondered if any of you lovely Brussels lolitas could tell me if there is a lolita shop? Or otherwise subcultural shops, or perhaps something dealing manga/anime - nerdcentric stuff? Or is there something else you HAVE to see in Brussels when you're interested in lolita/old timey-themes? I am looking forward to your answers :)
So, since the monthly theme is tutorials, and there haven't been a whole lot, I started thinking about what I would like to learn about lolita. The answer came easily, I would love to see a tutorial on how to follow a gosu rori (and similar) patterns! Anyone up for the challenge?
Hi! I have a question about a wig that a rose melody's model wear : http://www.qutieland.com/product.php?id=624 Does anyone know where the wig come from? It is soooo cute *slobber* Oh, and by the way, does anyone have a secret trick about how to maintain a curly wig like this? I've try several things that are suggested in tutorials, but the true is that, after only one hour, there are so many nodes that appear :S maybe I need to buy a product for that kind of problem thank you by the way! (:
So I ordered a dress (Milky berry in black) from Starry Candy Box about 3 weeks ago and provided my credit card info. Since there were some other girls that ordered the dress and got an email saying that it was out of stock, I thought I'd email them to see if it was a glitch that I was able to buy it. I didn't get a reply, but just decided to wait to see what happens instead of calling or emailing again. I got an email a week later saying that it's status was processing. It has now been more than a week I haven't gotten any more information about the status of the order.
Is this normal or should I be concerned? If I should be concerned, I'd appreciate any advice.
Hey, I've been reading and commenting a bit around here but I've yet to make an actual post...I've been wondering something for a while now: How long do items usually remain in the online stores of brands and taobao shops available for purchase.
Specifically, I've been eying BtSSB's Royal Tartan JSK for a while now but I can't afford it, and I'm worried that it'll disappear from the site before I get my chance! ;__;
Just plugging my blog since I bought it a domain today. My blog is very self-centered though but 80% of it's contents are about me as a lolita, fashion designer, and an artisan. Also, I often blog about the happenings in our local lolita community here in the Philippines.
I live in Owasso, Oklahoma and over the weekend I saw a Lolita at the Tulsa Scottish Festival. She was wearing a red dress with a black Meta parasol and Double Decker shoes. I talked to her! If you are her, feel free to respond. If you are a Lolita living in the Tulsa area, post here! I'm curious to know how many of us there are. >:3
After a few weeks of looking over my dress and getting a better feel for it, I have to say: I will not be ordering a dress again from f+f. Why? Everytime I try to put my dress on and go to take it off, no matter if I pull it over me or pull it down, that same spot rips some more. Each time you can tell and little more how poorly that spot was sewn together. Also, I think I failed to mention the lace but it's....like the really thick lacey thing that goes in the center of a table. That's the best that I can describe it. My mom had one when I was little and it was thick and well. not great quality. That's what I think when I look at this lace. That it belongs on the table not on clothes.
