Pictures of Meta's Moonlight Night Print Replace Sketches!!

Here is the link to the page where they show you all the different things they have in that print. Finally we can see more than sketches, and these pieces are mostly amazing!

Overall, I'm completely in love with the series! So impressed. Especially with this White JSK. This strikes me as rather unique and artfully done, which I can appreciate in the midst of different brands somewhat often knocking-off eachother's prints or making things we've kinda already seen before.

Not so impressed with some things: It almost looks like a camo print in the black skirt, lol. The black headbow seems disappointing. Not really distinctive enough to justify buying.

So what do you all think of the print? The colors? Anything else on reserve here worth extolling/deprecating?

Is it worth it? (altering brand)

I sold all of brand pieces awhile back except two.  a btssb parasol (because I dont have another umbrella) and a JSK from Innocent World.
WHile I do not dress lolita anymore, the IW JSK can be worn with normal pumps and look quite mainstream.
It  is a chiffon rose embroidery dress. The length on it is perfect, I LOVE how the bottom part sits. THe trouble is, the bodice.
It.....just doesnt sit right. It looks like a little girls dress at the top (by this I dont mean any insult0, it just makes my boobs look smaller and cuts me at a weird place.

SO, i thought, why not convert it to a skirt? But the price of the item is making me rethink that. An expensive dress, and cutting it with the scissors. ANd CHIFFON. that might be hard to alter.

Anyone here converted a JSK to a skirt? And how was the result/ please post photos if you can.
or, what are your views on chopping up an expensive piece of brand to alter?

New layout & themes - September

Septembers layout is here with huge thanks to momo_hane  for her lovely piece of artwork.  If you would like to see more of her work, check out her blog. Thank you to everyone who submitted something, and I'd love to see you return with more pretty pictures in the future! Everyone is welcome to submit theme ideas in this post. If you want to submit artwork for next months layout, please check this post.

The General Theme for September is Tutorials.
We had a lot of requests for it so here it is - a tutorial month. Been thinking of making a tutorial on how to make that tiered skirt? How about a nail decoration tutorial? Let's share our skills and get crafty!

The Aesthetic Theme for September is The sea.
Inspired by the banner artwork, this month we'd like to see anything and everything related to the sea. Mermaids, sailors, pirates, seashells...there's a veritable ocean of ideas to choose from! hohoho.
