Hi everyone! It's my first time posting on EGL, and I was just curious about the meaining of Juliette et Justine's name. I was reading about the Marquis de Sade's novel (who is the namesake for the term sadism!) and I noticed that of the novels he had written one was named Juliette and another was named Justine. I was just wonderrringgg if you lot thought that that might have something to do with it? Unless in the "About Juliette" part of the website they detailed why they chose that name, and I'm totally off.
Anyway, thanks for reading!

I read that most Lolitas in Japan knew nothing of the origin's of the word 'Lolita' until the book by Nabokov was mentioned as a suggested read in a Gothic & Lolita Bible. So my question is...
In which Gothic & Lolita Bible was Vladimir Nabokov's "Lolita" listed as a suggested read? And what year did that issue come out?
