IW has just put up their winter lucky packs for reserve! There are two options: Type A (presumably) contains more items and costs 31 500 yen, and Type B costs 21 000 yen. Unfortunately, the packs are only available in the M size this time around; maybe they ran out of the S- and L-sized tops?
Are you going to be getting one? And what do you think could be inside this time around?
Hi all! I'm new here so please excuse any mistakes/stupid questions. I'm 22, been a goth forever and always into the kinderwhore/creepy lil' girl thing-but just recently discovered loli in the last couple years and love it, of course! Anyway, I am still trying to figure out shopping myself (lol) but I have recently gotten my best friend into loli fashion, and I'm having a very hard time finding stuff for her. She is plus size (like 2X) and pregnant, plus I live in FL, so it's already hard to find pretty clothes-pkease help! Does anyone know where I can find plus size and even maternity quality loli stuff thats not too expensive? I know it's alot to ask but I need help! Also, if anyone knows any good places in FL to get cheap, quality loli clothes, regular size(I'm a S) , or just an FL loli's want to say hi and maybe meet up, that would be great too-thanks!
P.S.-I'm computer illiterate so please explain everything as though you weretelling an old person, lol
I have a question to those of you ladies who have bought BL's winter coats before. I am thinking about getting one for myself this year, and I think these ones are really cute to me. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bodyline/l065/ http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bodyline/l064/ http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bodyline/l095/ http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bodyline/l097/ But I don't know which size I should go for. I have a 88cm of bust and 73cm of waist. I know that for winter coat, because you'll wear some thick sweater or something inside so you should leave some spaces in between the coat and your body. But I just don't know how much space I should leave for. Please tell me how much space I should leave out for bust and waist. And I am also a tall person, so I prefer longer coats(Maybe around 105cm is good enough).
I recently had a conversation with my boyfriend about my wanting to add more Lolita to my wardrobe. He looked at some dresses online with me, and was actually quite supportive. He thinks it's all rather cute. This is completely different from one of my exes who always wanted me to wear heels and "dress like an adult" (which is funny because I was still in high school). My current boyfriend even offered to help me order the Bodyline skirt I wanted to buy (he's paying the shipping fees for me and doing the ordering) and offered to take me on a "cute date". We went rollerblading, which is a ton of fun and actually very fashion friendly provided you go to an indoor rink and don't fall. What are your experiences with dating and Lolita? Have you been on any "Lolita dates"?
This relates to my earlier post about Lolitas and their significant others. The idea for this post is to help give Lolitas and those who love them ideas for cute dates, which can be fun for both parties. ( Collapse )
I'm spending Christmas in Canada this year with my boyfriend's family, his mum lives in Bolton but hopefully we'll have access to a car - anyone want to meet a visiting English lolita? I'll be there from the 19th December until the 3rd January except for the 26th to the 30th when I'll be in New York.
New York lolis
I'm staying in NYC from the 26th - 30th December, mostly to come see my friend katabulous. Again anyone like to meet up? I know it's right in the festive holidays but it'd be lovely to see both familiar and new faces :D
also, guys, how cold is it going to be? 0_0 (mild-wintered softy)

The Aesthetic Theme for December is Sparkles! With Christmas around the corner and images of snow and twinkling lights in our heads (even if the weather doesn't agree) our aesthetic theme this month is sparkles. So take that any way you like, if it's shimmery we wanna see it!
I have a weekly radio show on our Community Radio Station CKLU and everytime International Lolita Day rolls around I like to do a themed show around it. This time being no exception. The show will be live tomorrow from 2:30-4:00 EST. If you are interested in listening to it you can stream it live http://www.cklu.ca/streaming.htm or I usually go on twitter to talk to people live http://twitter.com/cupcakeandtea
THERE IS A NEW OTHER COMMUNITIES LISTING. Comments are now locked on this entry. -------- since we're approaching 2010 now seems as good a time as any to weed out the list of other communities. if there are any communities you think need adding or ones which were wrongfully removed let me know.
Chantilly is proud to announce that they are opening an online web shop! In addition, they are offering international shipping and payment through Paypal.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Chantilly is an indie brand sold in Atelier Pierrot stores. For the past two years, they have also participated in Japan Expo along side other Japanese designers such as Angelic Pretty and Baby the Stars Shine Bright. Chantilly is also well known for their collaborations with Kokusyoku Sumire. In my opinion, they are best known for their classic lolita styling and very high quality lace! Please take a look!
