And I have a second order of business. :)
I remember a few people asked to see more gothic-classic lolita blogs, and I thought I'd share a few I came across...

And a little 'trick' a friend showed me that I was unaware of, Blog listing! (I think its like a search of some sort?)
and for sweet
It lists japanese blogs in order of popularity I believe. I hope it helps!

To all Lolitas in London! :D

Hello Girls! :D

My name is Lina and I'm from Germany. I'm going to travel to London in a few weeks and because I love to meet Lolitas from all over the world, I would like to meet some Lolitas there! I'm also a hobby photograhper, and I would like to do a little photoshooting with you.

You can take a look at my previous work here:

Daydreamer's Art flickr.-Gallery

I'll take the photos just for my personal use, to show them maybe on my myspace account / personal website and in my portfolio. Of course you would get a copy of the best pictures. I'm going to stay in London from 24 untill 31 july. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me via LJ or my e-mail-address bad_alice@web.de .

It would be really great to meet some of you girls in London!
Have a nice day & take care,

Question about Anna House bloomers

I'm a huge fan of bloomers that peek out from under a dress or skirt - I know, I know, not everyone likes that - so I'm on a magical quest to find a pair of long bloomers. :D Yaaay.

I'm not about to spend $50/60 on a pair of bloomers, especially since I want black and white ones, so brand is kinda out of the question. In any case, I haven't been able to find a really long brand name pair of bloomers.

Anna House has some longer bloomers for a decent price. I was curious - does anyone own these bloomers, or any other bloomers by AH? How's the quality? Are they worth buying?

In the Starlight also has some longer ones here, but I have no clue what the quality is like. I'm not sure if I like the ruffles vs. the lace, either.

Help for finding my GF a good JSK

Hi there everyone,

I am trying to help my girlfriend out, in finding, and buying her first JSK.

The problem is she has a budget, of around $60 or so. Being realistic, we know that for $60, so wont get too much, because as we all know, Lolita is an expensive endeavor. I told her that her best route would be a Bodyline piece, and she agrees. But before we went just settling, thinking that she wont get anything else, we wanted to get some opinions on what she could possibly get for that budget.

What do you think she could get reasonably get, outside of Bodyline, if anything at all? Brand or Off-brand, as it doesn't matter which. Do you think it is at all possible to get a JSK, outside of bodyline, for $60?

EDIT: I really should have mentioned this the fist time, so please forgive me. Her style is Classic and EGL. We don't care too much ourselves for the sweet style, and she is looking for something black and simple, if that helps at all with finding something that may be reasonable. Will probably also help with the price limit. -laughs-

Thanks in advance!

Dealing with reactions...

Don't fret, this isn't another of "those" posts! :)

I was reading Doe Deere's blog today (lots of great makeup tutorials!) and stumbled upon this article about dealing with rude reactions to your style.
What she writes won't be anything new to most of us, but she makes some good points and I think it's worth a read :)
It's mostly about staying safe whilst being yourself, but also mentions tips on what to do when you just can't wear what you like.

Here's the link: Click

Hope this is related enough for you all, I thought I'd post it since we get a lot of questions about this topic :)

Bodyline Dress: More Info Please~

While everyone is trying to make the Half Price Shipping for Bodyline over in the US, doing that in Aisa is much cheaper since $50+ already gets you free shipping, I just couldn't miss the offer.
