Attack of the head-eating bow aliens fro

Mad Hat-Making Party!

I already posted this on greatlakesloli, but then I worried that everyone might not see it. We're still working out the details, but as of right now we're planning on holding it in mid-April in Garden City, MI.

I would LOVE to see a bunch of ladies walk out at the end of the day in top hats, head-eating bows, and other lacy loli-able confections.

Comment and let me know if there's anyone interested.

Going to Japan next week

I would like to hit up BTSSB, Angelic Pretty, or whatever store you suggest.  Does anyone know where they are located? Do they allow foreigners to shop there?  I was reading something that said some stores (not lolita brands, just in general) are fed up with tourists and do not allow them inside.

What is your definition of "cosplay lolita"?

~Yeah, I've looked through the memories, I've seen Miyu's post on this and different other ones, scroll down you'll see why I don't feel these answer my questions.

A post really got me thinking, what is your definition of "cosplay lolita"? Is it lolita themed after things? Like some sort of anime/game? Or is it your average "ita"? Cheap lace and all?

Personally, I feel cosplay lolita doesn't exactly "exist" in a way, like it's something you could use to refer to someone cosplaying an actual lolita character. Such as Momoko from Kamikaze Girls [or in a way, Ciel from Kuroshitsuji]. This is just my two cents, I'm curious as to what you think.

  Hello everybody. :} Since I'm pretty sure you lovely ladies (and gents!) are capable of leading me to the right rabbitholes, I'd like to ask you a few questions, since my family and I are visiting korea (Seoul) this vacation.

1.) I'm going to be shopping in the Myeong Dong / Doosan Tower areas. Any particular stores to watch out for? (Of course I'm talking about stores that sell anything remotely gothic/lolita/interesting in general.) (Does Rose Chocolat still have a concrete store/still exist?)

2.) Are there any pretty shows to catch, like operas or orchestras or cultural shows I can go see? Or any beautiful siiiiights to see? :}

Of course, I ask these questions in relation to egl, sooo yep. Thank you guys! :D
