aerie_star's 2016 Wardrobe

Seeing how everyone stores their wardrobe is one of my favorite parts of wardrobe posts. This is my closet. I am kind of starting to run out of room to hang things, so I really need to change it somehow. I've also never really done a closet clean out in all my years as a lolita, although I've talked about it repeatedly.



This is what is directly above my hung items: my one tall hat, hatboxes full of wigs, and a couple of bags I use primarily for conventions.



I keep my shoes and purses together in a closet organizer system from California Closets from at least 12 years ago (they were sold at Target). They work pretty well for me, but I dislike the color. I may paint them white soon. On top of this organizer, I store a number of items. The boxes to the far left are full of tights and other items. The flower totes hold my socks.



Most of my other items are kept in another part of that closet organizer. I also use totes and boxes to hold some small accessories. And because my dresser is currently in pieces in our basement, my jewelry boxes live here too.



The two hat boxes have headbows, bonnets and small hats in them.



Finally, I keep my tote bags and parasols on a hook by the closet door.
