Hi, I'm Arisuki and this is my first wardrobe post! I've been in lolita for an indeterminate number of years, and over this time I've amassed a certain amount of things. I never expected the amount of work that would go into making a wardrobe post, and gave up shortly after photographing my main pieces. I apologize for the lighting, the winter sun sets early in Canada~
My taste in lolita is pretty much "cakes and fruits" with a side helping of flowers. I decided to group first by colour and then from sweetest to classic-est (where I still favour pink/red for the most part).
Angelic Pretty - Bloom (One of my ultimate dream dresses!)
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Ribbon Gelato
Chess Story - Classical Floral
Moi Meme Moitie - Rosenkreuz (Rose Lace Cross)
The one goth piece I own. It's white. Of course it would be. I've never seen a stock photo of it nor know its actual name?
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Cherry Cherry Fallin' Cherry
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Icing Dancing Cake
In the Starlight - Cherry Skirt
For a not-my-favourite-colourway colour because it tends to mute prints, I have an awful lot of pink.
Angelic Pretty - Jewelry Jelly
Angelic Pretty - Sugar Fairy Cake
First brand piece. It holds a special place in my heart even though it doesn't often see the light of day anymore...
Angelic Pretty - Marine Kingdom
I was so excited when I bought this because I love the gradient but I haven't ended up wearing it yet.
Metamorphose - Swan Lake
Innocent World - Happy Pie (long)
Metamorphose - Fancy Egg
Juliette et Justine - Lapin et Camée
This is my favourite print that JetJ has ever done!
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Veronica Elisse
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Coppelia Waltz of Time
Innocent World - Ball at Versailles (long)
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Hem Scallop JSK
Angelic Pretty - Whip Show Case
Lief - My Tart
Metamorphose - Blooming Garden
Ahhhh Meta when you do well YOU REALLY DO WELL.
Angelic Pretty - Powder Rose
Metamorphose - Fancy Bunny
Angelic Pretty - Dreaming of Macarons
One of my original dream dresses, I think this might just be my favourite piece.
Metamorphose - Pink Lemonade
I don't like the cut of this on me but the print is too cute to resist.
Emily Temple Cute - Decoration Cake
This dress kicked off my love for icing/decoration style prints <3
Chess Story - Sonata in Spring Le Printemps
When I started out, most of my dresses were sax. However, now I realize I somehow have very few blue pieces in my main wardrobe.
Angelic Pretty - Memorial Cake
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Salon de thé Minette Créme
I feel I have worn this so many times, yet never taken a coord photo of it. I need to change that in 2016.
Angelic Pretty - Day Dream Carnival
LIVING THE DREAM.
Angelic Pretty - Salon de thé Rose
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Sheherazade ~ One Thousand and One Nights
Innocent World - Violets Inside Mansions (long)
THIS DRESS IS ALMOST ANKLE LENGTH ON ME. I'M 5'7. I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU, IW. Also, IW calls this the "pink" colourway for some reason.
Enchantlic Enchantilly - Little Briar Rose
I always expected fully shirred to look unflattering. I was bored one day and tried it on, and was shocked to see how much I loved it.
Lief - Matryoshka
Angelic Pretty - Berry Chan
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Alice in Wonderland
Metamorphose - Strawberry Cream
One of the few black colourways I really like. Well done again, Meta.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Fairy Topialium ~ Pratense
This garment fits me better than anything else I own. It's an absolute dream.
Infanta - Disney Snow White
I got this mostly as a costume, but my goal is to find a non-Snow White way to wear it.
Flower Lolita - Sailor jsk
This year I bought a few otome pieces, mostly to wear casually to work.
ETC - Alice Candy
I needed a dress with my name on it.
Not otome brand-wise but it's very short and doesn't fit a petticoat.
Infanta - Birdcage
I wear this as my winter coat very frequently with regular clothing, it's wool and fleecy inside and because of the length, I find it warmer than my puffy parka when it's -20c
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Melody
Baby, Angelic Pretty, Baby
AP, Baby, Axes Femme
AP, Baby, Ank Rouge
F.i.n.t., offbrand, vintage
Magic Potion, Bodyline
I only took photos of blouses that were either particularly interesting or chiffon. I also have 5-6 regular cotton peter pan blouses that I no longer care enough about to dig up, sorry!
I'm a huge lover of removable outer layers because weather here tends to be very cold outside and rather warm inside. I wear pretty much all of these to work on the regular.
AP, AP, AP
AP, ETC, Magic Tea Party
AP, ETC (my favourite!), AatP
Socks! I *think* they go as follows:
IW, IW, Baby, Baby, Meta, IW
AP, AP, Meta, Meta, AP, AP
AP, Meta, ETC, AP, AP, offbrand
AP, AP, AP, AP, AP, AP
Tights all offbrand except for bottom left AP ones.
Sorry sorry, this photo is all I could manage after finishing the rest. Just a general idea of how I store my things! Not pictured: Hats, bracelets, wristcuffs, mittens, gloves, hair accessories, parasols, purses etc.
All of my lolita shoes are either from Taobao, Ebay or Bodyline. I'm really not a shoe person, and I'm even less of a purse person but I figured shoes would be easier to include since I already have them on a shoe rack...)
The 3rd row is not lolita-specific, but I wore all of them with coords in 2015. The last row are all hand painted by me. My goal this year is to paint more shoes for myself so that I can be comfortable while walking~
PS if you want an idea of how to organize dresses when you have somewhat more than you expected, I do something like this:
I... I love spreadsheets... a lot.
Thank you for taking a look at my little slice of frilly paradise! Hope to see you next year.
