Wardrobe 2016
Hello,
I've been into lolita since 2001, but didn't start building a wardrobe until late 2003/early 2004.
Although I haven't participated in the wardrobe posts for every year, my first was in 2007. I wanted to change things up a bit as I've always laid it out relatively the same, but ahhh, I just didn't have the energy. So, some pictures are from previous years, and there are some new shots for this year! I hope they look okay, we got a new monitor recently, and I haven't gotten it set-up (contrast and all that) just right yet.
Like usual, my fiance's wardrobe is included (after mine) as well!
Lolita gives me a strong feeling of being true to myself that I have never felt before...

Dresses, blouses, cardigans, skirts, jackets and what not - on the racks. You can see my Edwardian inspired hat on the wall on the right. Jewelry and smaller accessories are in the mirror.
Most of our hats and hair accessories are in the hat boxes. The boxes in the center and on the floor in front of the dresser have socks, bloomers, tights, and ...more hats!

I really wanted to talk about what goals I have this year for my wardrobe, but due to some recent bad news, my goal is really to hope that I won't have to sell any of the stuff I don't want to... Awe heck, although it won't be anytime soon, if things do start looking up: once again, I would still like some more gothic pieces and something super princessy, as I didn't really obtain those this past year. I also would love to get some more really old school stuff; I've been seeing so much old school lately that has made me so nostalgic for my old wishlist back when I started out, I realize I still really love some of it! And once again, more little things to help complete co-ordinates that never seemed complete or just right. I also hope that I will get more sewing done. Oh, and more bunny prints/items! And just stuff off my wishlist in general.
I would like to thank everyone that has posted their wardrobes so far, and those yet to come, as I really enjoy them! I hope you have enjoyed ours.
