Oh, hello.
Thanks for taking a look at my wardrobe- this is my first wardrobe post and I think my first post to EGL. I've had a LJ account since high school, so for me, over 10 years *gazes up at the sky, remembering the good old days.*
I got into the fashion during the summer of 2014 and quickly (and unexpectedly) became obsessed with it. I spent most of 2015 buying and selling a lot of things, trying to figure out my style. I consider my style mostly classic, but I dabble in sweet and gothic.

Though my wardrobe is on the small side, I am very proud of what I have accumulated so far and hope that I can make better decisions for purchases this year. It's still weird to me that this all started with me thinking, "I want to wear something cute to Otakon," and then throwing together my first coord. Of course I still have a ways to go, especially when it comes to putting together truly elegant, cohesive coords.

I purchased this style of tights from Bodyline originally then eBay later on, not MLD, but that link will probably last longer than one from eBay. This is my go-to style of tights. They're usually very comfortable and I feel like the ivory goes with almost everything I own (maybe they actually don't, haha).

Takeaways: I don't really think of my collection as super cohesive, but it definitely reflects all of my interests. I like the variety in styles. However, it also shows what I have prioritized. I have spent too much time looking at and purchasing shoes and not enough time and money on essentials such as blouses, boleros, and legwear. I almost forgot - I've made a few of my accessories, which has been personally rewarding to let out my (once dormant) artistic side.
Goals: Buy more blouses, gothic pieces, legwear; support indie and Taobao brands, and branch out to different shops in general.
I know there's a lot of talented lolitas out there with shops and I'd like to buy from then. I kind of rely on a handful of shops such as Closet Child, F+F, and MLD to browse for items and think I should expand a bit. I've gotten some stuff from like Y! Japan and so on, but I've taken a break because it's kind of time-consuming to stalk the auctions. Again, I know I have plenty of room to grow.
