Mercari the Japanese buying/bidding app? How to bid and buy?
Hello I haven't been able to find anything anywhere on what I can do for this service?
Mercari is a japanese bidding app which also has expanded to America as well. However each app is exclusive to each country. So you can only bid if you live in the particular country.
The Japanese app you can get free off iTunes japan. If you want to download it and take a look.
I tried to join via the app but it required some numbers I couldn't understsnd.
There are a lot of items you can buy off mercari. However I have no idea how to use it. It's an app only so translating is impossible.
I have noticed it seems confusing. Some items are clearly "sold out" by the banner across an item. But most items do not have this at all. I've noticed some items have as the title of the item "sold out" too. So you know these items are sold but I don't know what would happen if you went to buy this "sold out" item. Refunded? Seems pretty badly set up.
So you don't really know which items are available or not unless they say so.
I looked online and there is one service that bids for you. But you have to email them. I asked them for help but they weren't wanting to help. Just "give them the link and description" to bid. That isn't helpful for me as I don't want to continuously message them with items that are "sold".
Does anyone know how to use it?
