First Wardrobe Post!
This is my first time posting a wardrobe collection. I've been a long time lurker, and have been looking into Lolita fashion for awhile. I bought my first dress at the end of 2012, and from there I've been slowly building up my wardrobe. I hope you enjoy my humble collection!
All of my Angelic Pretty dresses. When I started getting into the fashion, AP was pretty low on my list, I was never into the bright neon sweet prints. But as soon as they started mellowing out (much to many people's dismay), I started to really appreciate more of the designs and soft colors.
Melty Cream Donut was my first AP purchase straight from the site, my heart was pounding out of my chest on release night, but I got it! I think it's my favorite print in my closet.
All but one of the dresses here were purchased on sale of secondhand. Baby always has fantastic sales, and I find a lot of the things I generally go for aren't very popular, so unless I have a suspicion something will be a hit or is a NEED, I don't buy much from them brand new.
Innocent World is the brand that got me into Lolita fashion, but I think they've fallen in my rankings a bit in recent years. Still hunting down so many of their classic floral dresses, I'm waiting for them to come out with another amazing rose print.
Metamorphose temps de fille
Not a huge Meta fan generally, but Strawberry Cream is easily one of my favorite prints of all time. The strawberry shortcakes and bright strawberries are wonderful. It's simple, but I just love looking at it.
My only indie dress at the moment. If you haven't been able to tell by now, I love food themes, and cutlery is always a nice touch.
I usually wear solid color tights, but I figure those aren't as much fun to photograph.
I live in student housing, and our carpet is hideous, not rori enough to display my shoes, so onto the bed they went!
Swimmer luggage, and AP jewelry box.
For 2015, I want to get more blouses, hair accessories, berets and OTKs. I'm terrible at coording my jewelry too, and I'd like to better learn how to put things together. That wraps it up for my post, I hope you enjoyed browsing!
