This year I hope to add a few of my high priority wish list dresses, as well as some more patterned floral pieces that can be coordinated in classic, simpler ways. For now though, I am really happy with where my wardrobe's at, it definitely is enough for my needs, and I feel like I can pull a few nice and unique coordinates from each main piece with what I have.
Metamorphose - Rose Stripe Shirring Pinafore JSK
A funny story about this dress - Meta accidentally sent me this dress (which was not for sale on their site at the time) and it just so happened to fit into my wardrobe perfectly, so I contacted them about it and made it mine! I've worn it a lot this year, it's so versatile and really coords well with all the main color themes in my wardrobe.
Bodyline - L379
I picked this dress up secondhand online for really cheap, and for a while it was my go to dress for casual coordinates. I know it's basic, but sometimes it's refreshing to have a simple dress that let's other things take the spotlight as opposed to wearing prints. It's really easy to care for - I love how I can just throw it in the washing machine and go!
Angelic Pretty - Nostalgic Karami JSK
I got this dress really recently when I realized how much I needed another solid colored piece in my closet. A little oldschool, this dress has the prettiest floral lace, and I really love the texture and weight of the fabric!
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Twinkle Girl JSK
This dress is a bit fancier than what I would normally buy, but when I found out I was going to the Baby tea party at AWA this year, I kind of came to the conclusion that I didn't have anything that would suit the occassion! I lucked out and found this on their outlet page, and have since coorded it in a more casual way in one of my favorite outfits so far!
Angelic Pretty - Geometric JSK
I really like the almost otome feel of this dress, and the chiffon is so perfect for the warm climate I live in. The simplicity makes it really great for casual coordinates, and I also think I'll be able to get some use out of this in non-lolita outfits too.
Angelic Pretty - Milk Tea JSK
My first Angelic Pretty chiffon dress. I picked this up this past summer. I really like the velvet details, it's a pretty contrast to the delicateness of the chiffon. Also the lace collar makes a fantastic accessory that can be used in other outfits!
Angelic Pretty - Royal Creamy Chocolate JSK
I actually purchased this on release, but not have worn it yet, I always end up deciding on something else when it's time to plan for events. But, it was the first dress I bought with first paycheck from my new job, so it waits for the day when I will wear it. I also really love the mocha colorway, I feel like it's the very definition of creamy chocolate!
Angelic Pretty - Melty Royal Chocolate Low Waist JSK
My first new release purchase ever, and one of the dresses that has been in my wardrobe the longest. It's still one of my favorite dresses even now, unfortunately it's kind of heavy for my climate.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Marble Sugar Drop JSK
Wow, I actually end up wearing this dress a lot. It's such a pretty brown with gorgeous gold threads running throughout the light chiffon fabric, and I still find new ways to coordinate it.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Early Summer Chocolate Strawberry Parfait
My first brand dress! I haven't worn it much this year, but I just got some new pieces in to coordinate with it, and my love is renewed! I also finally tracked down the matching socks after missing them when I saw them on Baby's site last year.
Angelic Pretty - Cameo Window Tiered JSK
I originally wanted the ivory colorway, but I was unable to snag one, so I settled for brown. It's the first brown dress I've purchased since my first three dresses that have been in my wardrobe since last year's post, and I could not be more in love!
Angelic Pretty - Victorian Letter Tiered JSK
One of the most recent additions to my wardrobe, this was my Christmas present this year. It's a shame it seems to be kind of unpopular, because it's such a pretty dress! The pink colorway is so lovely and subdued, and the deep wine of the bodice is incredibly beautiful.
Angelic Pretty - Royal Unicorn Gobelins JSK
I don't even know where to begin with this dress. The fabric texture, the lace, the actual print... it's all so beautiful. I'm really happy I was able to track this down and add this beautiful dress to my wardrobe.
Angelic Pretty - Sweet Cream House JSK
I actually really hated this print when I saw it online, it just looked so busy. I'm sure I'm not the only one who this has happened to - but as soon as I saw it in person, I fell in love! The artwork on this is so detailed, and the dusty pink color is perfect and I think is a really great way to tone down the sweetness of the print.
Angelic Pretty - Chess Chocolate Bustier JSK
This is definitely the sweetest thing in my wardrobe! Originally I really wanted the ivory colorway of this print. But... then I saw this for really cheap on Japanese auction over the summer (with the head bow), so I settled and couldn't be happier! The pink is really pretty and is a great addition to my growing pink collection.

My closet in all it's glory
This was right before Cameo Window arrived of course. As you can see, I'm soon going to be out of space for my dresses, if I want them to breathe! Luckily there's another side to this closet that I can use for my blouses and other, shorter things, as well as skirts - a few of which I'd like to add to my wardrobe this year.
If you're interested in how I coordinate my wardrobe, you can always find me on my other internet hangouts:
Thanks for looking!
