(rather picture heavy, I recommend opening in another tab)
Hello :) I've been collecting Moi meme Moitie since around 2006, and despite a few dream items still missing, I'm happy with my collection today. Until I started working, I almost always had to sell an item to be able to buy a new one, so my wardrobe grew rather slowly during it's first few years.
These past two years have definitely been the most intense in terms of lolita purchases for me, since I finally got a full time job and lots of dream items showed up.
This year, I decided to include detail shots about some items (mostly dresses).
Everything is Moi meme Moitie, except 2 items that are Fairy Wish (I posted them separately).
Dresses:
I instantly fell in love with the lovely fabric and pearl buttons (and.. it has pockets)
There are lots of things I love about this dress: the buttons and lace, the jsk that is in velvet, the collar that can be removed and worn with any other dress <3
...it also has pockets!
I love the simple design of this jsk, and the fabric is amazing (see the roses above). The black version also has roses all over it.
I love this kind of fabric <3 I also love the lace and I thought the little rose in the middle was a cute detail.
no detail shot here but I like that it's an unusual color for Moitie (and a color I love)
this long lace is definitely the reason I bought this OP! I also love it's shape, with wide sleeves, and the velvet ribbons.
Underneath the tulle layer, this dress had an interesting print~ it looks like a distorted version of Opera Garnier (I should check in detail... I'm just saying this because it looks familiar)
I just love this print so much... I had to buy it in black and in white.
I love all those layers of candelabra lace <3.
I love the way the flowers look painted. I also love the colors... you might not see it here, but the sleeves are partly see-through.
This one just arrived today actually :)
Of course I love the print, but the lace on the top part of the jsk is also something I really like about it.
The velvet is different in the black version and in the flowery version (the black one is smooth).
As you may have noticed by now, when I reaaally love a dress, I try to get all the versions I like xD.
I really like the A-line shape of this jsk.
This OP was released around the same time as the two jsks above.
Despite being hidden underneath, this fabric is really nice and full of details.
I don't know if you'll see it, but this OP has glitter on it! (look for the white dots on the picture)
It was released as a Christmas collection (2009 if I remember correctly).
Although I'm not too fond of the empire waist shape (on me) and blue isn't my color (I do love blue, I just think it doesn't suit me very well), I still fell in love with this dress. I love the detailed flowers and lace (and thhe mix of watery colors).
That's it for dresses :)
Moving on to sets:
Actually there's one dress left that is part of a set:
Sorry for the bad picture... a thread of wool came out and I need to repair it before I can take a better picture of it.
The matching jacket:
I love the buttons and just everything about it.
The matching skirt:
I'd been obsessed with finding this set for so long <3
The following cape also goes with this skirt:
I really love the lace and wine color.
Unfortunately the velvet is thinner on the cape and got a bit damaged ;A;.
This set actually is more ivory than grey.. the pictures don't do it justice, I love it to death!
This cape is part of a set but I only own this part.
This is the only skirt I own that is not part of a set so I'll just post it here
I just love all the detail that went into this cross. the organza background, the lace, the skirt's material...
It's really tiny (for me) but it's so beautiful that for the time being I'm keeping it as a collector's piece.
Coats:
Moving on to Tops:
I like that part of the collar is removable.
The same shirt in two colors; I love the pearl buttons.
the lace:
I'm in love with all this lace.
This same shirt in black and ivory.
detail below:
(the lace is the same as the black one's collar above)
the same one in black and ivory. No detail shot of the sleeve lace because I'm not a huge fan of that one...
Socks:
I usually put them in boxes and separate the white/ ivory ones from the rest (the same goes for my hair accessories)
there's another ivory pair I own but they are old... I can't take a good picture.
Hair accessories:
it matches my A-line flowery velvet jsk
Also matches one of my dresses
I bought this one a few months ago in the hope of one day finding the matching dress but... I haven't been lucky in finding it yet.
Handbags:
Gloves:
Arm-covers:
Shoes:
I actually have two pairs of the black ones.
scarves:
chokers:
(there are also 3 chokers that go with cutsews I posted earlier)
Jewelry:
And that's all for Moitie!
This year for the first time I bought (and kept) lolita brand that wasn't Moitie.
I bought two Fairy Wish items <3 :
I really admire the designer's work & I'd love to buy more Fairy Wish in 2015.
And of course, I'll probably buy more Moitie too xD
I hope you enjoyed my post~
Thanks for looking!
