Palace of Princes Presents Nightfall

We are excited to finally unveil Palace of Princes’s Nightfall! You are cordially invited to wine and dine with the Princes at an intimate evening reception which will include hors d'oeuvres, a bar, vending, an elegant fashion show, sponsored raffle and Q&A with special international guests never before seen in Texas showcasing their work.

Palace of Princes is an organization focused on spreading knowledge about Ouji and Aristocrat fashion. The Princes consist of several prominent international members of the worldwide J-fashion community, including Aerynsys and buttcape from the U.S. street fashion scene, and technotropism of the Australian-based film organization Deerstalker Pictures.

Nightfall will unfold the evening of Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Crystal Ballroom Houston, a short 15 minute walk from the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Located in the heart of downtown Houston’s famed Rice Hotel, the Crystal Ballroom is a 1913 historic ballroom featuring crystal chandeliers, heroic murals, immaculate 35-foot vaulted ceiling and picturesque views from the full wraparound terrace.

This is one of Houston's most treasured and historic landmarks, an event here is not to be missed.

Founded in early 2013, Michelle S. Ramon and Rachel M. Decker, are the dynamic duo designers behind the popular East Coast Lolita brand
Belladonna. Girly. Feminine. Elegant. Fun. Belladonna offers clothing in custom prints and designs catering to women of alternative fashion taking inspiration from Japanese street fashions. Both will be attending in person to present their collection at the fashion show and will also be selling their designs, including the newly released Ode to Darwin series!

Moss Märchen is an East Coast accessories brand featuring delicate handmade pieces for fairy tale witches and forest maidens everywhere. The Moss Märchen style is influenced by antique girlhood, fairy and folk tales, and woodland witchery.

Also known for her enchanting outfit coordinates on the internet, the designer of Moss Märchen will be attending in person for attendees to meet and will be bringing her newest collection of accessories to sell at Nightfall.

Moss Märchen rarely sells online or leaves the East Coast, so this will be a grand opportunity to collect an iconic piece that is difficult to purchase elsewise!

Guest AnnouncementAerynsys is a New York City based atelier trained fine artist, as well as a make-up artist, event coordinator, model and J-fashionista since 2006. Two years ago she began experimenting with Ouji fashion after previously having worn only Boystyle and Lolita fashion. She has become a prominent figure in the Boystyle J-fashion community for her uniquely colorful and intricate Ouji coordinates. In the past, Aerynsys has presented as lead panelist for Lolita make-up panels, workshops, and Boystyle Q&As in some of the largest conventions in the United States and abroad. Her panels have been wildly popular with both Japanese fashion audiences and regular con attendees, the longest line up time for one of these panels was 4 hours.

Aerynsys has been a make-up artist for many lolita fashion shows, photoshoots and for the Japanese Lolita brand Baby the Stars Shine Bright. Over the years, she has modeled for Japanese fashion brands such as Enchantlic Enchantilly, Hangry & Angry, Mint Neko, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and Alice and the Pirates. In her spare time she promotes Boystyle J-Fashion through Palace of Princes and her tumblr: Aerynsys.tumblr.com. As the original founder of Palace of Princes, she is excited to see Nightfall become a reality and to spread Boystyle Fashion around the world.

Buttcape is one of the Palace of Princes’ princes, as well as a blogger, and lolibararian. Buttcape is most known for her in-depth Ouji Overview hosted on her self-titled blog, Buttcape.blogspot.com. Her overview is the most complete and comprehensive guide to Ouji style. Buttcape began wearing Japanese fashion in 2010, starting with Lolita before quickly transitioning to Boystyle. She began her blog in 2013 in order to help new Oujis who were invested in learning more about the style. One of Buttcape’s most notable points is coining the word “buttcape” to describe the pieces that appear to be capes for butts. Along with Agentlemandoesnotconga, Buttcape also coined the term “BOZ Bros”, which is a bro that wears clothing from the brand Atelier BOZ. She is also recognized by Aerynsys and Aghostintheforest as their boystyle senpai. Buttcape later hosted the first Boystyle Q&A Livestream in 2014 during the first “Oujicon” with her kouhai.
