OTT lolita

Hi, I'm fairly new to lolita and I have a question for all you seasoned veterans out there. I found a set that i really like, but it's very OTT. Needless to say, it isnt cheap either. It has chiffon overlay, bustle, a flowered bonnet, the whole deal. I really like it, but I am afraid of blowing my savings and then never getting to wear it. Should i buy it? Would it be worth it?
