from ita to lolita
to celebrate this month's theme and my 5 years in the fashion, I thought it would be fun to post my from ita to lolita timeline.
2008 - I guess it was around this time I got interested in lolita. I started with sewing a horrible gothic lolita outfit (or what I though was gothic lolita, haha!), but after a while I realized this wasn't lolita (no picture unfortunately). I started saving for my very first brand (bought at Mfashion).
2009 - I bought my very first brand (a light blue with white polkadots Heart E set) and continued my studies on the fashion. I did a very nice photoshoot with me wearing the set and still have a picture of it framed in my room.
2010 - I started buying secondhand brand and Bodyline and went to my first con in a BTSSB JSK. I still was a sewing newbie, hence the awful maxipad.
2011 and 2012 - I started going to my first few lolita meet ups and changed my color scheme from pastels to blacks. (again no picture for 2011, but I loved wearing my AP whimsical vanilla chan in black).
2013 and 2014 - I continued using black as my base color, but this year I added a lot of jeweltone and other darker colored pieces too. I improved my sewing skills too and a good portion of my mainpieces are handmade.
