Is it normal for Baby to not send a notification of shipment?

Hello all! I reserved AATP's Guilty Meltin' Sweets Town JSK II and head bow within 15 minutes of the release and finished the payment process shortly after. According to their website, the items were supposed to be shipped out early to mid August. I've seen online that other people have already gotten their items from that release so I was wondering, does Baby not tell you they've shipped your items? I mean I thought EMS came with tracking but even if they don't deal with that, I thought surely they'd let me know if my pieces shipped.
