New Coord opinions / advice wanted.

I recently purchased Bodyline's Cupcake Tea Party (L547) JSK in lavender. I modified the JSK just a little bit. I moved two of the three top bows onto the waist and added a small string of pearls. I'm also using the front bow as a headbow. Here's a picture of some of the pieces:

The blouse pictured is a sheer fabric with tiny grey stars on it. I'm not sure about using it. I'm wondering what you guys think about my changes to the JSK and also suggestions for socks / wigs. Here's the stock picture from bodyline's website in case you want to see:
