Hello, ladies and gents. I finally got around to getting a Sailor lolita outfit put together, using an...unconventional Bodyline dress and a dream.
I purchased their maid dress COSTUME598 in navy.

I figured with a little altering and elimination of the headdress and apron it would make a perfect sailor dress. I sliced the apron off the sash and added a four inch ruffle to the hem, obviously not pairing it with the headdress. It's still a little short, but did I do well, folks? I'm trying to figure out if there's anything more I can do/need to do to make it truly Lolita.
Finished product coordinated:

(I apologize for the wrinkles, I had to sit in the car petticoated and smushed; also, this thing wrinkles like nuts. It's not really cotton-ish like I'd expected, it was more like fabric you get in a really nice cosplay. Which, I suppose, is what Bodyline actually produces more of anyway.)
