Questions about pettis

Welp, my descent into madness is now complete. Last night I dreamt of the most perfect coord in my entire life ;____;

A few weeks ago I ordered the Le Portrait De Marie JSK from Krad Lanrete. I'm still waiting for confirmation from Clobba that it's been shipped (which is taking forever ;___;) but in the meantime I wanted to find out more about pettis.

I'm very very new to Lolita, and to start off with, I'm looking for a good quality petti that's not outrageously poofy. Just enough to give the dress a nice shape! Any suggestions? (Or perhaps any suggestions for how I can coordinate my new JSK?!)
