chipperI was wondering if I could get some feedback on my pride and joy, the Versailles JSK I made for Valentine's Day. I've made one before it (a striped Christmas one), but there are some flaws that I should've noted before finishing the dress. However, my Versailles JSK is something that I am extremely proud of, and would love some feedback to the design!
Full Size.Here I am, wearing the JSK out on Valentine's Day! I don't normally go for the hime style, but I adore Rococo fashion, and had to embody it in this dress.
Here is the dress (front and back) on my dress form. It's unfortunately a little droopy because I currently don't have a proper petticoat (sad face), but it has a very full skirt with LOTS of ruffles!! Once I make my own petticoat (I'm up for the challenge), it'll be able to sit nice and full like it's supposed to.

Thoughts? Opinions? I'm leaning towards attaching another layer of ruffles at the very bottom of the dress (since that last layer is a little less ruffly than the rest), but overall I'm VERY happy with how it turned out.
I'm also working on my own lolita brand (under the name KarmaKatelyn Designs). Does anyone have any advice when it comes down to starting up a brand? I have a few lines in mind to work on over the summer, which I'll debut at SacAnime Summer's Fashion Show.
