Blending accuracy with practicality: Hime-Lolita Purses

I'll make this quick. I'm making an OP based on the late Imperial Russian court dresses, between the very late 19th and early 20th century. Something like this, and I've been trying to be as historically accurate as possible while still maintaining the lolita aesthetic. That said, I've run into a problem. I have no idea what I could use as a purse while still keeping the 'theme' appropriate and somewhat accurate. I need help, and fast! :(

I've got the project nearing completion, and while I've got headwear, legwear, and even the perfect shoes all finished, I'm still lacking a purse. I don't want to have to make my own, as I'm on a bit of a time crunch. That's sort of a problem, considering I'll be taking this to a con, and I'm going to need something to carry my wallet and anything I might buy. That said, I have absolutely no idea what to look for. Hellolace is no help, as most of the pictures of the Hime coordinates either don't have purses visible, or have purses that would clash horribly. I've looked at everything from horse-plush purses to gold embroidered coin purses from the mid 1950's, and I'm completely lost.

Anyone got any suggestions? Examples?
