A very late wardrobe post!

Whoops!  I didn't mean for this to be so late but I had so many things going on with work and at home this month that I've only just managed to find the time to post this. I was debating whether or not to post this as it's so late but I've enjoyed everyone else's wardrobe posts so much that I think I'd feel guilty if I didn't share mine too.

I've been wearing lolita for about 3 and a half years now and my wardrobe has changed quite a bit since I first started.  What started out as a love of sweet has changed into a almost entirely classic wardrobe.  I still love sweet but just not on me!  My wardrobe has changed a lot in the last year.  I got rid of most of my skirts and bought more dresses.  My basics haven't changed that much but I have added more tights and floral head wear.  If you're interested my last wardrobe post is here: http://egl.livejournal.com/19088115.html

I'm pretty happy with where my wardrobe is at the moment. There's always wishlist items that I would love to add but I don't feel like I'm missing anything.  Anyway, onto the clothes!

Shoes
Hasn't changed since last year as I was pretty happy with what I have. I usually wear teaparties or shoes with low heels unless I know that I won't have to walk too much.  I wish I could wear heels for longer but my legs say no!

Socks and tights
This has grown since last year.  I have a slight problem I think! What can I say? I love socks and tights!

Bags
I'm not really a bag person so I don't have a lot and most are offbrand except for one from IW.

Cardigans, cutsews and boleros
Sorry for the quality, was losing light at this point!  Mostly offbrand, some handmade.  The black cutsew in the top row is AP, the green cardigan with the fawn fur collar is ETC, the white crocheted bolero and brown bolero in the middle row are IW.  The 2nd pic all 3 are AatP's Aran bolero's - I just need to find the black one to complete my collection! I love these, they are so comfy and the hood has a pom pom!

Blouses
Again I have to apologise for the quality of these photos, especially the black blouses one. Mainly offbrand, vintage, a few handmade by my Mum, some IW and AP and a BtSSB blouse is in their too.  If you want to know any details on any of them just ask.

Outer wear
I don't have a lot of jackets and no coat (really need to get onto that this year!).  I added 2 vests this year and I'm really glad that I did as I really like the way they look. I should have added an IW corset/cumberbund belt thing here too but I forgot to take a picture of it.
Left - IW and IW
Right - BtSSB (has this cute belted feature at the back), IW and BPN (velvet! must add more velvet to my wardrobe this year).

Head stuff
I've added more headwear this year, mainly floral items. I tend to prefer them to headbows as I'm getting older and as I move further and further away from sweet.  Some are handmade, I've got 3 Sweet Mildred head pieces and plan to add more this year as they are amazing, and then there's IW, AatP, BtSSB, a few AP headbows and canotiers, MM and Meta.  If you want to know the details of a specific one just ask me :)

This AatP Princess Grizabella head piece deserved a picture all of it's own because it is so pretty.

Skirts
Last year I had a LOT more skirts (like another 20-30 or so!) but I've come to prefer the way dresses look on me so I've sold off most except for a few handmade ones, some indie brand ones that I love and one lonely AP skirt - French Cafe is just too cute!

My one lonely remaining AP skirt - French Cafe, This has a detachable apron top which I have never actually worn.

Dresses

Baroque
Missing Keys and Rabbits JSK and Pearl Drops JSK. The Missing Keys JSK is so comfy (I love empire waists) and the bunnies are so cute.  The colours in the Pearl Drops JSK are so pretty.

Lady Sloth
Leda and the Swan and Silk Cherubins. Both are custom made so that the entire dress was out of the silk fabric and I'm so glad I had it done that way as I love silk!  The fabric is so soft and floaty.

Krad Lanrete
Phantom of the Opera long OP. Absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately it was too small for me at the 'waist' (underbust) and I was going to sell it but then my Mum came to visit, had a look at it and was able to alter it to fit! Yay Mum!

Alice and the Pirates
Trick Hat, Prick Heart babydoll JSK and Wicked Queen's Poisoned Cellar JSK I.  Trick Hat is another really comfy JSK due to the empire waist and one that I love wearing. I had the black version too but wasn't as in love with the colours so I sold it recently. One day I hope to track down the purple and maybe the red colourways. The Wicked Queen was a must have as soon as I saw the print. Being a scientist having a dress with florence flasks and test tubes on it is awesome. Add the books and Snow White and it's just perfect!

Gloria ~Beautiful glassy saint Mary~ Therese OP. When the first images of this came out I fell in love with the print and loved the OP until I saw the collar.  For some reason the collar didn't appeal to my at first so I didn't reserve it.  Then this one popped up on Closet Child and I thought I'd take a chance and get it and I'm so glad I did.  The collar is now one of the things I love about it! Along with the print and the beautiful chiffon fabric.

Juliette et Justine
Le Cadre du Chat JSK and Star Money OP. I love cats and so had to have this JSK. One of my favourites. Star Money is another beautiful chiffon OP (I love chiffon!). It is just stunning and lovely to wear.
IMG_1183IMG_1152

Innocent World
Stripe Jacquard Bustle JSK and Felicia Crown JSK.
The Stripe Jacquard JSK has a beautiful bustle back and is made of lovely floaty fabric.
IMG_1182IMG_1180

French Picture Frame JSK and Westminster Choir JSK.
The French Picture frame has cats in some of the pictures so I had to get it! I love the Westminster print and the style of the JSK.
IMG_1179IMG_1177

Charles Crown and Antique book.
IMG_1176IMG_1157

Merry Rose and Lauretta Rose. Merry Rose is a fairly simple dress but it gets a lot of compliments when I wear it. I use to own Lauretta Rose in the milk tea colourway too but it didn't suit me. The brown colourway is just as lovely though and looks much better on me.
IMG_1173IMG_1164

Anniversary Rose in cream and green. I couldn't decide between the 2 colourways when it was first released so I got both and I'm glad I did. I love a floral print that looks like a sofa!
IMG_1171IMG_1170

Beatrice JSK and Alencon JSK. The print around the bottom of the Beatric JSK is so pretty and the words so cute. Alencon is a really buttery kind of colour which was a nice suprise as the stock photo didn't show it as much.
IMG_1167IMG_1161

Arabesque Rose tiered JSK in beige and blue
I love the tiers in this JSK, it gives a lovely shape to the skirt.  And the floral print is so delicate and s
IMG_1160IMG_1156

Arabesque Rose JSK and Rococo Rose Border JSK
More Arabesque Rose, can you tell I love this print. The fabric of Rococo Rose Border is so soft and has flowers woven through it.
IMG_1154IMG_1165

Stained Rose Glass JSK and Antique Pansy JSK
Two of my favourites (I have a lot of favourites!). Both so beautiful.
IMG_1169IMG_1159

Violets Inside Mansions JSK and OP.
Loved this print when the images were first released but decided only to get the JSK as I was worried about how the OP would look on me. Then the OP came up on the sales comm and I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. Such a beautiful print.
IMG_1168IMG_1146

Alphabet Rose long JSK
This is longer than IW's usual long JSK's and one I wasn't sure would look that good on me but I gave it a chance and I'm so glad I did. I love the longer length. Great summer dress.

Lief
Sacred Night JSK in red, black and ivory x black. Absolute love for this print and dress.

If you've made it to here thank you!  Next year I'm going to start this in December to make sure I get there on time!
