Sakura Fairy's Wabrobe 2014

Having missed it last year I was determined to do a post this year!

2012 post

I don't think my wardrobe is very "classically" impressive, but I do hope it is interesting.  As you will see it's all handmade/indie, thrifted, offbrand, and vintage.

This will be my 11th year in lolita.  You might expect more pieces.  I've changed styles and I don't have as much time for sewing for myself because of the indie brand I run.

Because so much of my basic stuff is offbrand I decided to photograph my jsks/dresses with outfits and photograph my accessories.

Jumperskirts/Dresses
I've added a coordinate rundown to each outfit in case anyone is specifically interested in the items used.  Please excuse if there is some discrepancy between the full photo and detail photo, they weren't all taken at the same time.

Laura Ashley Dress * Outlet Blouse * Lily of the Valley Necklace * Thrifted Belt * Bridesmaid Corsage
(Just got this.  Unfortunately the skirt isn't full enough to alter it into a lolita dress like my other Laura Ashley pieces, but It works quite well for otome)

Vintage Hats
I don't usually wear the standard lolita head gear; exchanging it for vintage hats more often then not.

These hats belonged to my Maternal Great Grandmother.  The black one really needs it's veiling replaced.

These hats were given to me by a client of my Mother's who had collected them for years and decided she didn't want them anymore! The swan one is by far the oddest hat in my collection.

Given to me as gifts!  My favorite types of vintage hats overall are the velvet floral ones!

And this one I bought for myself.  It used to have a great dot tulle veil that I had to take off.  I plan on replacing it.

Non Vintage hats.

Furs
They are vintage, they are real, and one has heads attached.  Just a warning.

Cream Mink Stole

White Fox (sadly not it great condition) given to me by the same woman who gave me all the hats

Amber Fox, also given to me by the same woman.

Light Brown Mink, given as a present from a friend (was his grandmothers)

Vintage Fitch Collar. Gift from a friend.  Probably a little girl's collar.

Mink Stole.  Given to me by a Priest friend, it was his grandmothers.  It's probably the oldest piece in my collection.  In surprisingly good condition.

Full sized Mink stole.  Love it so much!

Shoes
I mostly wear offbrand shoes with handmade shoe clips.  Yes I do like brown, why do you ask?

Heels: first two are natrualizer, 3rd is from payless, and the last is Clarks

Flats: white, blue, and pink are payless (anyone remember the castle flats?).  Dark brown is from Bass and light brown is Naturalizer

Boots: Easy Spirit (altered) and Mootsie Tootsie (thrifted).  I really need to polish these!

Sandels: both Life Stride I think.

Accessories

Vintage and thrifted handbags

Cross Body Bags: The beaded one is vintage, the red one and the white one (added pearls) are thrifted, and the brown one is from walmart.

The crochet gloves are gifts, the solid white gloves are vintage (need to clean them, but it's scary) and the wristcuffs are handmade

Belts:  Other then the red one (gift) the bow belts are from ebay, the lion and rabbits clasp belts are vintage, the pink silk sash is antique and all the other belts are thrifted.

Floral and bird corsage clips.  Other then the large rose corsage in the front right (made by Moss Marchen) all of these are handmade/Lily of the Valley

Rosettes and bunny pin.  All of these are Handmade/Lily of the Valley

Basic bows for pinning on things.  That rainbow fabric is the HARDEST fabric to photograph right!

My few hair things.  The Rainbow headband goes with the rainbow bows in the last photo.  The Rose headband is handmade (tatted).  The Lily of the Valley hair clip is from Sweet Romance and was a gift

Vintage Collars, Dickies, and Scarves

The knit collar was made for me by a friend (as is cream not yellow), the lace collar is from ebay, and the rest of the collars are handmade/Lily of the Valley

Stockings: The Lace and polkadot stockings are from ebay, the crown ones are Teja Jamilla (coffee dyed) the dark brown ones are walmart and the rainbow and Lily of the Valley stockings are handmade.  I also wear alot of solid color stockings and leggings that aren't in the photo.

The two leftmost socks in the top row are Innocent World.  The rest are from Ebay, Bodyline or are offbrand.  The top row are knee high, the three in the right corner are ankle socks, and the rest are OTKs.

Parasols/Umbrellas.  The first one is vintage.  I'm planning on recovering it with something pretty when I get the chance (ha).  Same goes for the one next to it.

Jewelry
I've grouped some of these into matched sets

Peridot  set.  The earrings and pin are made by my Mother

Acorn Set: Lily of the Valley

M'Ladies Parure: Lily of the Valley

Neptune's Doman Parure: Lily of the Valley

Vintage Lisner.  I'm trying to collect the rest of the set (bracelet and clip earrings)
