Welcome to 2014!
I believe I made my first offfical lolita purchase April last year.
Now admittedly my 'drobes an incohesive mess. I hope from this year on I can understand my style as a lolita and focus on it rather than just have a bit of everything I love.
But lets start! (You can click on the images to load the larger resolution if available)
First up -
AP Fairy Frill JSK with Matching Bolero. Two in ones are sweet!
AP Pastel Pearl OP in Yellow. The first dress I ever wore with fellow lolitas!
Bodyline.... ....that dress that sells for $13. D:
I gave it a tea stain because originally the colours didnt flatter my complexion at all, but now it's my most worn dress! It kind of gives off that "pulled out of a dusty vintage trunk" feel now.
Leif Matryoshka Nesting Doll Series Apron Skirt in "apple red". The first dress that actually suited my 5'4'' stature, I was ecstatic when I put it on! I have no idea how to coord it nicely though...
AATP Tarot JSK II - They call it a JSK for some reason? Apparently this is my most flattering dress. Regardless this and my Matryoshka are my most favourite in terms of detail.
AP Ribbon Sugar JSK - one of my beloved favourites yet almost impossible to wear in my country comfortably bar narrow time frames in Winter. May have to get rid of it either way as my complexion clashes terrible with this beautiful dusty rose colour.
BTSSB Twinkle Constellation OP in Pink
My first brand dress. Unfortunately not the most flattering colour on me but maybe I'll swap off for the Yellow/Sax/Navy colourway someday.
Sorry about the weird lighting!
BTSSB Creamy Quartet in Sweet Blue. My first achieved wishlist item!
Onto my 2nd most favourite lolita feature - shoes!
I actually have 12 pairs (for 1 year YES IM A SHOE-HOLIC I KNOW) but the others needed to be scuff cleaned and one of them repaired (believe it or not, they were the brand ones!) before I photographed them. That brown pair on the top right is dark brown by the way, not black D:
I originally was going to post my full collection of accessories, but the photo turned out to be an eyesore of offbrand so I chose some of my favourites for this one. I'm so annoyed about not noticing the "Angelic Pretty" name badge falling over on that black headband there GAH
Alright and thats all I have time for this year! I hope all the balancing on top of my bed, 'shopping my toes out and colour adjusting has successfully entertained your curiousity and thank you everyone for posting your inspiring wardrobes! If it werent for you all since 2009 and later, I wouldnt have had this exciting year of beginning lolita.
Hopefully by next year I'll know who I am as a lolita!
See ya!
