Wardrobe of a chiffon lover II
Hello Egl! This is my second time posting my wardrobe, you can see the 2013 post Here.
I can't believe a year passed already.. I didn't expect that I'd present my wardrobe again this year,
but it changed a lot, I sold a lot of dresses and found two of my dream dresses!
As some may recall, I have a deep love for the chiffon fabric.
I believe this is from the ethereal and airy feeling it gives to outfits, I find it most inspiring.

First the dresses;
I tried to separate them by color and fabric (chiffon and not chiffon), but it wasn't that
easy, so there is chiffon in the non-chiffon category and vice-versa.
My beloved chiffon dresses:
Black dresses
Cotton Gathered Underdress (not in chiffon) & Fairy Chiffon Doll dress, both from Victorian Maiden
I will soon change the first one for the peach colorway and maybe at some point I will do the
same for the chiffon one.
Lace x Chiffon dresses:
Lace Frill Overdress & Gilet Dentelle Jsk, from Victorian Maiden
I loooove these, because they have a mori feel too, I'm happy to now be able to do simple mori x lolita
outfits with them. The one on the right was in my wishlist for a quite a while!
Pale dresses:

Chiffon cape and dress from R-Series
The dress is my first one of that style and is the one from which I got all of my "chiffon inspiration",
It unfortunately is a bit transparent and not as well made as my others one, but I still adore it and will
probably never sell it <3 .

Unfortunately, JetJ didn't "close" the fabric, so the dress is falling apart so I do not wear it much...
even to it is one of my favorite :(

I can't describe with words how I love this dress and how it is a constant inspiration.
I find that it "embody" the whole airy-chiffon atmosphere that I love.

The IW one is my only IW dress left and was one of my first dress too. I like it's length and
the "country" look it gives.

This dress is very useful for the canadian winter since it is very warm!

I really like these, despite the fact that I do not associate them so much with the lolita fashion.
I prefer to do vintage / flapper outfits with those and the one on the right is one of my favorite!

The Snow Whites:
Claudia, The fairy tale princess op & Wicked Princess op From btssb

You may think that those doesn't match with my general straight classic looks, but the Claudia op has been my first dream dress. I was still in the punk-lolita fashion when that dress came out. I instantly fall in love with it, but at that point I couldn't spend that much on a dress, it was still an absurd concept to me. So everyday I would go on the tokyo rebel website to look at it, until it went sold out..
My style evolved a lot, but it kept being in the top of my wishlist and this summer, when I saw the Wicked Princess release I
decided to buy it, since it look quite similar. Two weeks after my order is made and paid I got an opportunity through friends to get the Claudia op! I hadn't received the Wicked Princess op, but I couldn't let that chance passes ether, so I bought it, and here is why I have the two of them! I still prefer the Claudia and will sell the wicker princess one at some point though :)

I tend to prefer dresses over skirts because I find more inspiration in them, so my skirts collection
is quite small. I hope that next year I will expand more this section by "falling in love" with more skirts :)

Jewelry:
As all the previous wardrobe post showed me, I clearly do not have enough jewelries (aside from pearls).
I mostly wear pearls, it is my 2nd favorite material after chiffon!

I am glad that I found the two VM one this year, I felt that it was a need in my vm collection!
Of course those aren't 'THE' classic vm parasols, but I love them so much anyway. I do not use them so
much though, only to meetings.
Hats:
I loove hats! I hope that someday I will have the materials to do some for myself!
First two are from VM (the bonnet and the "canotier"), the big straw one in the back is
handmade by me, the wool one on the right is from Axes Femmes. The rest is offbrand or vintage.
Gloves:
First lace one are from VM, the wristcuff from MM, the rest is vintage :)
Printed tights:
(First two VM, the rest Grimoire)
I am not a big fan of prints usually, unless it is on tights! It adds just a little touch of
fantasy to outfits, while keeping them simple. I have many more tights of lace too.
Outer's accessories:
(The gloves are from IW, first scarf from F+F, 2nd from Putumayo, and I forgot one pair of IW gloves)
Trunks:
I took last year picture for these, first two vintage and the maps one VM <3
Bags:
Back row: MM, MM, Handmade by me, VM, vintage
Little purses in the middle: all vintage except for the first black one which is from VM
First row: IW, VM, Grimoire, offbrand, and the white wallet is vintage.
In the mail:
A 2004 Mary Magdalene corsage and a simple VM skirt for everyday wear :)

The left one is to replace my black version, and I may buy the gathered chiffon from a friend,
but I am still thinking about it...
+ 2 others MM corsages :)
