I thought it would be fun to do a wardrobe post to be able to compare how my wardrobe has shifted from year to year~ I first started lolita in 2010, but sold off everything I owned in 2011 and went on a 2 year hiatus! However, in May of 2013, I rediscovered my love for lolita and started from scratch to build up my closet again. 7 months later, here we are! Here's the modest collection of a college senior.
Angelic Pretty's Chess Chocolate - One of my first dream dresses that I couldn't obtain prior to my hiatus, I felt so lucky to purchase it off mbok within the first month of my return to lolita!
Angelic Pretty's Melty Cream Donut - I couldn't wait to get this jsk after I saw Maki modelling the pink OP at the San Francisco Anniversary event.
Angelic Pretty's Twinkle Carnival - My dream Christmas print! I love the way the gold carousel sparkles when light hits it!
Angelic Pretty's Radiant Candlelight - I can't resist the allure of velvet!
Angelic Pretty's Glass Doll Skirt - I can't capture this on camera, but it's so translucent and beautiful! I want to try wearing it in a jellyfish-inspired coord.
Angelic Pretty's Melty Royal Chocolate - Chocolate Prints are delicious!
Angelic Pretty's Day Dream Carnival - When I returned to lolita, this was one of the prints that I saw I missed on my hiatus! Immediately, i started scouring every single second-hand site to see if I could find it. I finally found the sax version and later traded it for my preferred colorway - Ivory!
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Jewel Tree Bouquet - I actually purchased this back from the girl I originally sold it to. Talk about good luck!
Baby the Stars Shines Bright's Labyrinth in the Reminiscent Mirror - I'm starting to think I'm addicted to florals.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Secret Garden - Yep. Definitely addicted!
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Angel Chiffon - Another glorious floral print!
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Long Frill Underskirt - I love that it adds some length to my shorter dresses, so even a taller lolita like myself can wear AP!
Angelic Pretty x Imai Kira's Cat's Tea Party - The crown jewel of my wardrobe! I love the sassy cats and delicious cakes they're enjoying.
Innocent World's Isabel OP - My first attempt at classic, but then I realized it didn't suit me as much as I had hoped. I love the pearly buttons and the gorgeous neckline lace!
Angelic Pretty's Royal Unicorn - The print isn't just printed on, it's actually weaved into the fabric thanks to the gobelin fabric. I love the texture and colors, although I haven't worn it out yet.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Sleeping Beauty - I love fairytales, so this was an absolute must-have for me!
Angelic Pretty's Lady Pleats - The most comfortable jumperskirt I own! I love how simple it is and how I can tone this down for casual wear to school, or pair it with heels to go on a dinner date. (I actually have the same jsk in pink coming in the mail!)
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Icing Dancing Cake - This print just makes me want to eat it up!
Krad Lanrete's Aurelia Lost in Deep Blue - The first indie piece I ever bought! I love the fabric KL uses, and it really floats like a jellyfish once you stick a petticoat under~
Angelic Pretty's Musee du Chocolat - Another chocolat print that I'm in love with! The chocolate frames make it a slightly more "mature" sweet print, and Porter bear is just too cute.
Innocent World's Bertille Rose - Okay, I'll admit it. I have a floral addiction.
And then onwards to the blouses & cardigans & coat~
