Take a look in my closet!

Wardrobe Header

I've been an admirer of Japanese fashion for at least 6 years now, but only really started wearing lolita on a regular basis about 2 years ago. I'm really picky about what I buy - I like to save up for those dream items! My closet is fairly small; I didn't photograph everything though. The blouses and shoes I coord with my lolita dresses are also everyday wear so I didn't bother to take photos of those. I decided to just take photos of the items I absolutely love. For a couple reasons, 1- taking a photo of every accessory I own would be much too time consuming, and 2 - I was losing the light fast! I hope you enjoy my small but beloved wardrobe! And sorry for some blurriness, the light goes quick in the afternoon of the Pacific NW.  :)

Dresses
Le Cadre du Chat
Juliette et Justine - Le Cadre du Chat
I absolutely ADORE this dress, it's the one that gets the most use. Juliette's dresses always fit flawlessly and I get a lot of compliments when wearing it out.

chantilly
Enchantlic Enchantilly - Phantom Merry-Go-Round
This dress was on my wishlist for a solid year. As an illustrator myself, what sold me on it was the detailed horse drawing on the front and how it fits in the bust.

milkyplanet
Angelic Pretty - Milky Planet Special Set
I literally cackled out loud when I found this on MBok for half the price it was going for on the sales community. This piece has been one of my dream dresses since I very first started wearing lolita. For this print, I think the lavender or the yellow suits the print the best; and since its the special set it has a lot more wiggle room in the bust area.

nobles
Juliette et Justine - Vin des Nobles
This was purchased at PMX from Juliette's fashion booth at the convention. It's incredibly soft chiffon, and its rather hard to see in my close up photo, but "Juliette et Justine" is written in cursive script on the inner hem of the dress.

sugarycarnival
Angelic Pretty - Sugary Carnival Special Set
This is the simpler version of Sugary Carnival, it goes for a lot less, probably because it doesn't have the horses along the bottom or script along the chest. I prefer it to the other version, it seems a bit more "adult". (if a sweet lolita dress can be adult!)

toydrops
Angelic Pretty - Toy Drops
My very first lolita dress purchase! I adore this dress, its soft floaty chiffon and incredibly comfortable to wear. I purchased this when AP came to Seattle for SakuraCon in...2011 I think it was?

Skirts
fallingalice
Emily Temple Cute - Falling Alice
Hahaaaa...or should I say "skirt?" Just one in my wardrobe, I prefer the way JSKS look, but the illustration on this piece was too beautiful to pass up.

Bags
bags
From top left, clockwise: Angelic Pretty Sugary Carnival mook tote bag, Angelic Pretty black "leather" 3-way messenger bag, Enchantilly cat canvas tote, Liz Lisa floral canvas tote.

Headwear
headwear
I like to craft specific headpieces to match my dresses rather than wear the bows that come with them. The yellow rose, yellow ribbon bow, and the two fruit/orange flower head dresses are made by me. The crown in front is from the Dollar Tree! I was buying wrapping paper and spied it in the birthday section and couldn't pass it up, the colors matched Milky Planet perfectly.

Necklaces
necklaces
These are just a few of my favorites in my collection. I also like to make my own accessories to match my dresses. The star necklace, round candy necklace, and sailormoon piece are made by me. (the candy drop necklace was inspired by 6% DokiDoki)

Rings
rings
Just a small sampling of my favorite rings. Some included are Angelic Pretty, Locketship and Automatic Honey.

If you've made it this far, thanks for reading!! (This is the first year I've done a wardrobe post and wooowwww do these things take a long time to put together).
