In the last two years or so, I've been slowly moving away from Sweet pieces and trying to collect more Gothic/Classic styles. It was a huge shift at first, but in comparison to last year, it hasn't changed a whole lot. I've accumulated a lot more accessories, blouses, and other basics, and of course been able to collect and make some wonderful new main pieces.
I've been in to the fashion seriously since 2008, and it's really very fascinating to see how the style has morphed over the years, and how other people and their personal styles change. For me, as I get a little older and do adult things like buying a house and budgeting and navigating married life, this means shifting to the more elegantly understated Classic styles.
