Did you purchase something from a site of questionable reputation and paid the consequences? Did you show up decked out in lace and jewels for an occasion that proved abusive to your look? Stuff of that nature.
Personally, I had found a crochet pattern for a headband online and noticed that the design would be perfect headdresses for old-school Lolita. So naturally I whipped one up in white. And gray. And dark blue. And wine red. And black. I don't have those last four colors in my small wardrobe right now, except for my black Chocoberry skirt from Bodyline. So now the four headbands/headdresses are on the comm sales waiting for someone to buy them and wear them out and about.
