ATX Lolitas and the Sailor Moon Summer Spectacular!
Hello everyone! I just wanted to do a little show-and-tell about a meetup my community had last week. We had some summer fun and put together a Sailor Moon themed meetup to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a show so many of our members grew up with and loved. Our meetup was open to lolitas, cosplayers, as well as enthusiastic friends, anyone who wanted to have some fandom fun. Members of our comm put together outfits inspired by several of the Sailor Senshi, and I think everyone looked great!

Representing love and beauty... Venus? Okay, actually- our Venus got sick at the last minute and a buddy of mine who happens to own a yellow suit (???) threw on this wig for us out of good will. You're a true pal!

Oh... but now that we've taken all these photos, what do we do?
How about we visit the Alamo Drafthouse for a private showing of awesome Sailor Moon goodness? Yeah, that will do! We rented out a theater and had an awesome show complete with a "Henshin Yell Competition" for adorable prizes!
Everyone got cute goodie bags with tattoos, glowsticks, Sailor Moon themed cookies and more!
All in all, we had an amazing time and it was a ton of fun for everyone. I ran around shooting bits of video and put together a short little mini movie- which was super enjoyable for me. Everyone loved the theme meet and we're looking forward to more great times in the future!
