Atlanta Lolitas and AWA?

I will be traveling to Georgia/Alabama from Germany to visit family next month. I will be attending AWA and would love to meet up with some of the comm, if they are doing anything for AWA. I feel really odd joining the Facebook comm since I'm not a permanent part of the community and am not sure when I will visit again.
