Visiting Italy and looking for lace!

Hi,
I'm off to Italy next week. I'm staying by Lake Garda and although we won't have a car, I believe it's easy enough to get around the lake. We are also probably going on a day trip to Verona. Now of course when thinking of Lolita and that part of Italy the two things that come to mind are Venice lace and carnival masks (well I know they are both more strictly Venetian, but I'm hoping I can get them other places too).
So, does anyone who knows the area know any good places to get nice lace and pretty masks and other frilly things from?
