Elegy Clothing Review: Positive
My review for Elegy clothing
Hello everyone!
I wanted to share my experiences ordering for the first time from Elegy Clothing. I ended up ordering a black chiffon blouse as I had been looking for a cut like that for quite awhile that wasn't triple digits. I ordered via EGL & PM. She was great on communication and did everything custom sized as well, so I didn't have to worry about it not fitting. I ordered in late May & received the blouse July 11. I ended up not noticing when I ordered as well that there were some black spikes along the neckline & was pleasantly surprised by it. The straps on the neck are detachable & the construction was very professional. I'd say the only thing I'd notice was that some of the horizontal lining for the shirring wasn't 100% straight, but I've got no issue with it and it's doing what it's suppose to do. The cloth itself was very sheer & uniform and the ruffles on the arm were exactly what I was hoping for. It's a good spring & summer blouse when you want something light & overall I was extremely happy with the whole experience. I'm happy to to be supporting an indie brand & love the idea of them doing their own prints & ideas rather than doing a straight replica (though I have no issue with replicas themselves, it's nice to see something unique). For $70.00 plus shipping, it's a little less than brand, & being able to customize your sizing was a great incentive as well. I'm excited to see what Elegy clothing will do next (I'd like a dragon print if you could!).

The shirring. Overall it's a great job even if it's not 100% lined up. The rest of the construction was perfect.

Worn. Everything fit nicely as to the given measurements.
