Fun budget finds.

So I recently purchased my first brown Lolita dress, its the Melty Alice design from Putamayo, & they lied about it haveing white. None of the purses or shoes I had matched the dress so i had to struggle to find affordable accessories to go with it & had no time to wait for shipping. I was very sad, but I searched some thrift stores. First I tried goodwill & found white satin Mary Jane heels that were wedding shoes & they were brand new for $4! I was really happy with that find & took them home to dye them brown, but i still needed a purse. I went to savers next, & found this!

Its genuine leather & has lil trumpets on the top, hand made in Venice Italy! It was $5!!! I nearly fainted at how cute it was, & couldn't wait to share my find! But it made me start thinking, what do others do when they are in binds like this, & where do you look? I don't like sacrificing quality, so I was curious. Also i was wondering, obviously this purse was drastically marked down for being, well, different than what we are used to in the states, but the bag is like new! Has anyone else encountered this? That someone is selling something lolita perfect & really has no clue of the little treasure they have?
