Coord idea help: Jane the Killer
I'm planning to attend AnimeUSA this upcoming September with a friend of mine and originally wanted to wear a Lolita coord. Then while poking around the Internet for Creepypasta stories, I came across one for Jane the Killer. Long story short, the night Jeff the Killer snapped and murdered his family, he abducted Jane's family and friends, killed them, then tried to disfigure Jane by burning her. It backfired horribly, so Jane disguised herself and went out to kill Jeff in retaliation. While I think it is an interesting concept, I can't help but think she was created as a means for fanfiction writers to get Jeff the Killer a girlfriend but that's besides the point.
So I got the brilliant idea of maybe doing a Jane the Killer inspired Lolita coord! And then I fell into a sea of confusion and paranoia of how to create such an idea without being labeled as a dreaded "ita". The creepypasta story describes Jane as wearing a white full-faced mask with black lace over the eyes and dark lipstick and a long black wig styled in curls. From the pictures I've seen of her, she is either wearing a white hoodie, skinny jeans and sneakers or a white minidress, black jacket and black ankle boots. I've also seen pictures of her without a mask (and not disfigured) and instead sporting dark smoky eyes and dark lipstick.
I have no clue where to go with this idea. Guro Loli, Ero Loli, a plain white OP and a black cardigan and black Mary Janes: I really don't know. The one thing I can say is that I'm probably going to do makeup and not a mask (I even have a look nailed down for that!).
So do you guys have any advice? I would greatly appreciate it!
